i have a 2000 dodge durango and want to lift it for bigger tires, looks, and hopefully better offroading clearance. what kind of lift has the least affect on driving and handling, what's the price like (cheapest is best), and looks the best (ie brands and distance)?

I would not put a lift kit on a durango, maybe you should find a truck or jeep wrangler, the lift kits dont work out to great on the durango due to driveline angles and other clearance issues

I have to agree with JP on this because drive-line angles are critical in keeping the vehicle working right. That and after having owned a 2000 I wouldn't waste my time putting a lift-kit in one.

You can put in a body lift without changing driveshaft angles. They
are relatively inexspensive too. BUT.... it may void your warranty.
