Get a couple drinks in them and they can get real "nasty". It's all that repression being released. Then they feel sorry the next day and seek forgiveness from god. That also means they leave you alone.
It's a win - win situation

It's one thing to have the name of a Christian, and a completely different thing to live the life of a Christian. My ex-boyfriend's mother was a "Christian" and easily comparable to your ex wife under the description of "the ultimate d*tch demon from Hell." Very few of the people who claim to be Christians, are actually Christians.

I'm sorry that your ex-wife acted in such an un-Christian-like manner than you feel compelled to talk about her in this manner. I can assure you that she is not representative of the majority of Christian women. That being said, we are human and certainly are prone to making mistakes and committing sins. I pray to God and try to live my life in a Christ-like manner. God knows how often I fail. But if I repent, He will forgive me and I can start anew. I pray that your ex-wife has not turned you off Christianity completely, that you will accept our LORD into your heart and soul before it's too late. Your ex-wife, just like the rest of us, will have to stand before the LORD one day and account for her behavior. May God bless you!

i believe that there are good christian women and then they are hypocrites that say that they are Christians. i just have to ask this. did you divorce your wife because she made you uncomfortable when she talked to you about God? i am a Christian and i pity you. there are soooo many great christian women out there.

It depends. I know plenty of people who are Christians with a capital C and are just great folk.
Maybe you just drew the short straw.

I actually think that most Christian women are cool! My mom's one, a lot of my women friends are.
But, yeah, some can also be bitchy. I know thos types, too.
