No, a loving creator would not send us to an actual place called "Hell". The concept of Hell has been manipulated throughout the centuries as a control mechanism in order to keep people frightened into compliance with certain church organizations. The true meaning of the concept of Hell is simply being absent from the presence of God; in effect, that which makes you an individual personality is annihilated. You are made as if you never were. God is just, but even more is he loving and merciful. A human parent would never conceive of sending one of his or her children to a burning pit of fire for all eternity in which there was no escape from the neverending torture and pain. If this is inconceivable to an imperfect human parent, imagine how much more inconceivable it is to a perfect and loving God. If you choose not to spend eternity with God he doesn't torture you, you simply cease to exist.

Would you, as the "loving created" choose separation from the Creator? That's the real question. Why do we always blame God for our bad choices? He made a way for us to escape hell and eternal judgment. It is through accepting His free gift of eternal life found ONLY in Jesus Christ. If you were trapped in a burning building, and there was only one exit, would you call the fireman sent to rescue you "narrow minded and judgmental?" Think about it.

Would a loving creator let someone like Hitler into heaven? I do not think so. Heaven is a reward for following God's will. Hell is punishment for failing to do so. That is my opinion.

The choice we make is what saves us or condemns us. If we accept that Jesus's death on the cross paid for our sins and wrongdoings and want to have a relationship with God, he will not send us to Hell. But if anyone thinks their good deeds will save them or that because they go to church every so often will get them into Heaven, they are badly mistaken.

The Bible says to those who do not acknowledge God, he will say that he doesn't know them. The question to ask yourself is do you just let anyone into your house? If not, why should God?

God loves us so he sent Jesus to die for our sins. He wants to have a relationship with you but for many different reasons, some people don't want to have that relationship with God. I do hope that if you do not have a relationship with Christ, that you will seek to have one. It is the best thing that can happen.

babybear- It is Our Heavenly Father's intention that "......none should perish". His love is unconditional, however His blessings and what we reap is very conditional upon obedience and adherence to the Word of God, the Holy Bible. And He sent His only begotten son, Jesus to show us the way to holiness, which is Godliness. He bore witness to show us that the path to eternal life and a personal relationship with Him is possible ONLY through belief and trust (therefore obedience) in Christ, and rejection of same is your choice and your free will to do so. The end result, after dying a lost sinner that has ultimately rejected Him as The Truth, The Life, and The Way, is eternal damnation. I challenge you and all other critics to read the Bible, and witness for yourself how your heart will be overwhelmed and filled with truth and peace. God bless all!

Our creator is a loving creator. We only have one God and He is the god of us all. We just may imagine HIm in a different appearance.

God doesn't push us into the fire, He saves us from the fire! It is our promise from HIm; that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

If you believe in HIm, and you did refer to Him as a loving creator, you will not perish. Instead, you will have eternal life! So, don't worry about perishing in hell. He will save those that love him.

Those who don't believe will be left behind...only one place left.

You probably gonna hear responses like "we send ourselves to hell." I can see that and I do believe we do get sent to hell for rejecting his word. There are so many different scenarios though, I can't see him being that punitive with lots of people, some will argue the point though

No. Hell does not exist as a physical place. It's just an invention from ancient times that Christians still use today. God loves us way too much to condemn us.

Sure, why not. Life is not fair, so why would death be. Hell is not what a lot of Christians would have you believe. Hell is simply to cease to exist. It clearly states this in the Bible, I don't know why they try to change that idea. Ceasing to exist seems pretty bad to me.

He does not send us to hell.
It is us humans who were given a choice to serve God
or serve the devil.
If u don't live life according to the laws of God,
and repent from sin then u condem yourself to go to hell.
But if u turn your life to Christ, then u become saved by grace.
For he did not come to condem the world but to show
us to way. For he is the truth, the way and the light.
No one can come to the Father if not through him.
