I've known her for about a year, we met a camp last summer andagain this summer and we've kept contact through email all year. Sometimes she wouldn't reply for weeks and in real life would sometimes go to check on something at random times.

If you have a Must Have criterion of "responds quickly to communication", then no. By the way, use the phone, not email if you want to get a hold of her. I have a friend who's busy and goes incommunicado for days, but since I'm busy and have a live, it's not an issue for me. If you focus your energy on having fun and making good use of the time you're apart, it's no biggie when she gets back to you. However, if she's not interested, then just move on--if you have to ask yourself if she's interested, she's not.
