People have been having sex with others that were not their spouse since they invented marriage, do you really think that it is going to stop in the near future?
As for the oldest profession I do not seriously think it will stop any time soon either. In ancient Babylon they had temple prostitutes and a woman had to sell herself on the steps of the temple before she got married because you could not spill the blood of a relative.
Lets face it having sex is fun and many countries realize this and have made prostitution legal.
I do agree that if one is married that they should be faithful to their spouse unless their spouse agrees with the fooling around.

Y'know, sometimes people ARE "nothing more" than a hooker or a prostitute, at least as far as a particular encounter is concerned. Most prostitutes are not in the least interested in becoming friends with their clients, they have friends for friendship, lovers for love, family for family, and clients to make money.
This is one of the oddest questions I've seen here. Many husbands and wives are perfectly comfortable with their spouses having sex with someone other than themselves, so who, exactly, would be being disrespected?
And I happen to be single, so ANYBODY I chose to have sex with would be other than my spouse. Where's the disrespect of self in that?
Really, it's extremely difficult to figure out what it is you are trying to find out. Aside from the fact that you are making totally off-the-wall assumptions about the motives of thousands of strangers, is the question of what it is you're hoping to learn. Strange. Very, very strange.
