At the time of writing this people had to go to the community well to get water, one pail at a time. There well was on top of a hill. As far as jack his crown refers to his head, he fell and busted his head. And Jill fell down the hill in a tumbling motion. In todays world this may sound silly, but there is a reason these are called "nursery rhymes" they are meant for small children.

They went up the hill because that's where the well was. I'm not saying the person who put the well there wasn't stupid, but that's the way it goes. When Jack fell down and broke his crown, it means he hurt his head. When Jill came tumbling after means that Jill slipped and fell down the hill too. Maybe deliberately. Drama queen.

They probaly were getting water from a well that was sitting on top of a hill. The meaning of jack fell down and broke his crown is that he fell and rolled down the hill and Busted his head hence the broke his crown and jill must have saw him falling and reached out to grab him and probably just slipped and fell so she came rolling down the hill as well so she was rolling right behind him.

1. There was a well on the hill.
2. Jack was wearing a crown, he fell down, the crown broke, and he rolled down the hill. Jill fell too and came rolling down.

Jack And Jill Live in the desert.
It is hot.
The only water available in in a well
the well is ontop a hill.
They went up the hill ... got a heatstroke, jack fainted and rolled down the hill and broke his crown (tooth in his mouth) and then jill freaked out because she thought he died so she thought she might jump off and kill herself.

THERE
now you know!!

they went up to the well at the top of the hill because THATS where they wanted to keep it and then jack fell like a dumbass and his crown fell off...why he was wearing one is beyond me...and then Jill was left holding the rope and the bucket and all the water and wearing high heels at the same time...of course she cant hold her balance...have you seen any wells ontop of hills since then? I don't THINK SO.

Mother goose owned a burlesque house. Water is a code word for crack, she sent them up the hill to an underground society called "The well" to fetch her more crack for her customers.

They sought out revenge because mother goose didn't pay them enough, so they smoked it. Jill smoked all her crack and wanted the rest of jacks but he wouldn't give it to her, so she stabbed him and stole it, and he fell down the hill. Jill smoke Jack's crack, and upon realizing she didn't have anymore she killed herself....and also, fell down the hill. The End.
