You can't lose for trying.
I probably wouldn't have put it in the year book - because it's on paper forever and ever.. but on the flip side - it's a gutsy fun spontaneous thing to do.
Personally, I like to see people's reactions to my questions or comments on something like this. That way I can be careful about what I say after what I just said.. if that makes any sense.
But like I said.. I like what you did. If you wrote in my yearbook, I'd probably be pretty happy about it. And I mighta married ya even. :)
P.S. Don't worry about it being a 'stupid or silly' thing to do.. Don't worry about him laughing at it in a reuinion. Look at the positive side of everything... it IS possible that when the reunion comes around.. both of you will have not married yet., or maybe married but with kids and divorced/single.. He may just try to find you for fun because you did write it in the yearbook !
I say everything is for a reason or at least it is what it is. You can make everything a mistake or a purpose.. depends on how you look at it.
I say you did a cool thing. I wouldna done it coz I'm a chickensheet.. but I would have liked receiving it. And if I was single and going to attend a 10 year reunion.. HECK YEA I'd BE LOOKING FOR YOU! And ya know what.. I'd be hoping that you weren't taken already, coz I'd be thinking maybe it was meant to be.. or .. you know what I'm sayin'?
DOUBLE P.S. In 10 or 30 years you won't laugh at it.. as in be embarassed about it.. at the worst.. you'd laugh at it thinking how silly you were.. and how gutsy you were.. and you will think.. gee.. what it was like to be in love like that.. what a great fun feeling - why can't I feel like that now that I'm 50. Wait.. maybe I can... let's go find him at my next reunion and see where we're at in life then!

No for reasons that it would have been better to tell him personally. Years down the road he will see this in his year book and when you have a school reunion it may be something he will laugh about or he will think it is cool. Not to mention all the others who sign meay read it as well and that may be an embarrassing thing for him. If you did already sign it, well I guess you wait and see what the outcome is. Good Luck!

Sure, but why not tell him face to face? the worst thing that can happen is he'll say no, and that's never the end of the world. Have confidence, if you really like him and he's a good guy he'll respond to your feelings in a good way, even if he says no at first he might change his mind later.

well i always say it's never a good idea to put things that you're not sure about the repercussions in writting. he may want to brag and show it to all his buddies. guys at that age are mostly immature and will take a stab out of anything to make themselves be the hot stud in school. it's harder to communicate verbally when you've got a crush, but there's no real evidence if it turns sour. hopefully he likes you too and you guys get to have fun, etc.... good luck.

No. Now everybody who see or signs his yearbook also knows your true feelings. If he thinks your a dork, he and all of his buddies are laughing at you on a daily basis.

30 years from now when you see him at the class reunion you will be embarassed by what you wrote. Especially if he didn't act on your statements in the yearbook.

No, if he doesn't have the same feelings for you he is going to laugh at it and show all his buddies. You should of given him a note and then wrote at the bottom, if you feel the same way let me know. Now, this guy is going to have that in his book for the rest of his life.

No, now you just made him think about what he is going to miss for the summer. That is just mean man. Teasing a guy with the prize of you and not going any farther than that. That is mean man, just pure mean.

No. You should've taken responsibility, acted like a woman, and told it straight to his face. Communication is key to a relationship, I can't stress that enough! If you really like him, maybe you should tell it to his face instead of writing it down for him to read. I'm sure it'll mean much more to him if you tell him straight up.
