HI, I am a 13 yr old boy and I am trying to get back in shape. I have gained some pounds over the summer. I am 5'7" and weigh 157 pounds. I am also planning on losing some fat on my stomach. :( Any suggestions? (I am running a mile everyday)

Don't eat fast food. Don't eat food from boxes and cans. Eat fresh fruit and vegetables.

Also do some things to build up your muscles. Grab the used 1 gallon milk jugs before they go in the trash and fill them with sand. This will give you some free weights. Better to do this outside otherwise when the plastic breaks your mother will be angry about the sand in the house, these won't last forever.

You can use these milk jugs to do a variety of lifting. It gives you something similar to kettlebells, so check out some of the video clips of things you can do here:

Again, the plastic jugs will break eventually so don't bang them too much, set them down gently, etc.
