I don’t believe that Christians and Muslims believe that nakedness is in and of itself lewd or immoral. What Christians and Muslims, of the orthodox variety, are probably against is the premarital lust that is induced by flagrant exposure of the nude form. Within the confines of marriage, enticement brought about by looking at the nakedness of ones spouse, is considered wholesome and healthy by both religions. In today’s society, however, when one sees the naked body, more often than not, it is not within the bedroom of married couple. It is instead flashed on the movie or TV screen. Thus such an exposure of skin is specifically geared towards premarital and extramarital lust.

I'm Christian. I don't think nakedness is bad. : )
I can't really speak for Muslims, but I think I can for Christians. I can tell you, they don't think it's bad. Ideally, sin never should have happened and we'd all be walking around naked having a jolly good time. Christians do see displays of naked bodies to induce lust as, not necessarily bad, but wrong. But essentially, Christian's see nakedness as perfection. There is no cover, and certainly no flaw. It's how people use nakedness that they see as wrong.

I am Muslim. I wear modest clothes and hijab. However, as the Sheika at my mosque said, it's a good deed to be sexy for your husband and keep him interested. So, I don't believe that Muslims think nakedness is bad.

Woman cover up outside so as not to get unwanted attention or to be "raped" by someones eyes.

I don't mind being naked, but I wouldn't do it in public, for one reason it's against the law, the other reason is decency and respect for people of all ages.

Adam and Eve were perfect. After they sinned, all men became sinful and imperfect, including thier views of sex and the use of it. It was no longer "innocent" to be naked because people have perverted views of the naked form.

It isn't safe to be naked. How safe do you think a woman would be walking downtown naked? Not safe at all.

because christianity and islam are religions ruled by men. they will say that it is immoral to be naked because it creates sins. especially in christianity where the priests are not allowed to pursuit sexual urges. they don't want to see naked women because it turns them on and they would sin against god. it is all about temptation for both religion. they don't wanna be tempted to sin through actions and images in their minds.

no. Its part of the legacy of Jewish self-hatred. Some of us believe and still practice naturism.
