It's because people need their levity. And it just happens to be at your expense... We all take turns being the pinata.
We all take turns holding the bat.
Sometimes, I don't know which one I am.
Naturism.... yes, I do have something stupid to say-- but that word is not in my dictionary. But I still have lots of stupid things to say.
And I'm not naked under my clothes by the way. I'm just naked. Ok, I'm at work, I'm not really naked, but I could be if I wanted to.
So does this make my question a frivolous answer to your serious question... Am I the pinata this time? Damn, I'm all out of candy.

What a stupid, frivolous question...since the answer would require mature hindsight and foresight I deem it unpopualr as my nature dictates and so bid you farewell, and look forward to your less meaningful questions.
Although I recently thoroughly explained the effect of global warming on the earth over the next 100 years, natural selection, survival of the fittest and modern innovations and their effect on human survival - It was alot more stimulating than this, the question did not get many other answers, so maybe you're on to something, but as we ask ourselves when another soldier dies on the battlefied 'does it really matter'?.

Well, are you purposely putting them all under religion and spirituality? Lots of people dont bother to answer questions in certain categories. Maybe thats it. I dont know, I havent checked your other questions.

It's probably because Y!A is populated by teenagers home from school in the summer or people who are using the forum to waste some time.
If you want more thoughtful answers, take a philosophy or religion class. Many people are here only to celebrate their own ignorance.

I personally tend to only answer stupid, frivolous questions because its a quicker two points, and I'm so darn close to level 5 I can taste it.

Now, I usually don't answer stupid questions, but this one isn't quite as stupid. Hun, it seems to me that people are so lazy these days that they just don't care about the important subjects (where they'll have to think), and they only care about the easy, stupid ones. Plus, there are people out there who are only interested in getting the points, so they'll go for the ones that are ubber-easy and (again) stupid. Hope that answers your question.
