No, it is not stupid. In fact, as a coach, I will sometimes ask my players to practice certain things at home. This is not always something that includes a volleyball. You can practice footwork for hitting and blocking. I used to do an approach & reach up to hit every doorway in the house. You can also practice diving and rolling. When I was younger, I used to roll backward over my shoulder to get up from sitting on the floor. This helped me to be able to dive and roll much better & I became a better defensive player because of it!

If you enjoy the game, NEVER feel stupid that you practice it at home. That is the way that people become great players!

Keep it up and HAVE FUN!!!

Actually no it is not stupid to practice every single day at your own house after practice because everyone need to practice some kind of sport i mean i do the same thing as you it does help and you can show it! i mean if you didnt that would be fine but its good that you are because u dont get better if you dont try you know what I mean.. people say practice makes perfect but then again u can never be perfect in anything so i would keep on doing the same things as ur doing just to get better umm.. ask some people what you could be lacking maybe if you wanna get better in that little place then just ask um.. thats all i can say

No way. If I had a vollyball net at home or even at a nearby park I would be there all the time if I had practice or not. I can't play at my house because my backyard is too small and i can't play in the house. Extra practice is never bad when you love to play.

If you love it like you say you do, and your the one who wants to do it, then absolutly NOT!!! You can only get better and it sounds like regular practice just isn't a good or long enough workout for you, practicing at home after practice sounds like a good idea. You can only get bettter the more that you practice anyways.

first off i would say no, but it concerns me that you still have mounds of energy after practice. I have always been told to give all that i have at practice. I try to leave practice as exhausted as possible because i outworked everyone. However if you have worked as hard as you can and you still want to play that is great.

No. It's obvious that you want to get better so it's better to practice on your own if you think you're not getting a lot out of normal practice.
