I had this girlfriend for about a year. We broke up, about 4 months ago because distance was a factor. I can't stop calling her though, anything that happens - she's the one I call. I know that she still likes that I call, and she's said she wants to be a part of my life still. I've started being friends with all of her friends too. I wanted her to spend my birthday with me, she's the only thing I wanted that day. I slipped up and told her that I still thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world. Am I being stupid, or am I just still in love with her like I think I am? Will I ever get over her? I still feel like she's the one.

sounds to me like distance is nothing to the love u feel for her.. =T.. why let something like that ruin ur relationship? it may be worth it to continue, even if u think it will be hard..... i know long distance relationships have small chances of working..but if the love and trust is still strong, it can move mountains! i used to feel really insecure in my previous relationships... and i used to think it was distance that caused my last relationsihp to fail (two hour distance)..but u know what... now that i have my current boyfriend, and we are on such a different level mentally and emotionally... i realize that no matter what, even if there are times when we have to be separated cuz of work or sickness... i love him so much and want him so much, that i can't wait until i see him again. and until then, if we have to talk on the phone, or email, or chat, that is enough, because i am so happy w/ him and OUR level of commitment. i highlight OUR because, if one person is committed but the other isn't, then the relationship is doomed. but if u feel that both of u can trust eachother and care of eachother, regardless of distance, ur love and TRUST will get u thru the hard times. no matter what life throws at u, ur relationship will be strong enough *if* u continue to both work on it daily.
if u really think distance is a factor, then try to let her go.. but if all things same, and the only problem is distance, don't do something that u will regret. good luck

Sounds like the two of you have unresolved feelings. Be honest and share your thoughts with her. See how she reacts. If she shares your sentiments, try it again. If she rebuffs your advances, accept that it is over and move on. You won't know unless you take a chance. This is scary but if you want to end it with no regrets or second thoughts, go for it. Don't get your hopes up but something good could come of this.
