They were probably trying to bribe you because that wasn't really turkey!
I did this all the time when I worked at a pizza place...if I sneezed in it or it fell on the ground or I put horse meat on it instead of sausage, or ear-wax instead of cheese (you get the picture) Then.... I would put money on it, so it would change everything.. and turn it into a positive situation.
You didn't eat it, did you? UH-OH!

You didn't....you planted it there...or you're not very observant....at Subway, don't you walk along with them and watch them make your sandwich? How could all of the people behind the counter have missed it? I suppose it was laid out perfectly flat. Anyways, I hope you didn't eat the sandwich....think of all the hands that money passed through, including your own...hah!
