What is a good "vegetable" to go with a spaghetti & meatball dinner?
I'm making fresh garlic bread, and salad. >> Are green beans okay!? <<
Or should I just stick to the bread & salad?

Salad could be your veggie, plus you have tomato's in the sauce. No other veggie is necessary. I never serve a seperate veggie with my pasta.

Instead of making a vegetable, why not put extras in the salad? Cauliflower, broccoli, garbanzo beans, kidney beans, just about any vegetable. Even fresh green beans! Try that! You'll like it better than another separate veggie.

Stick with the bread and salad. Pasta is very filling, so you don't really need a "side" for the spaghetti.

Bread and Salad are the way to go when serving Spaghetti. nothing else is really needed. That's plenty of carbs. and they do taste good don't they ?

I would just stick to the garlic bread and salad. That's good enough.

Broccoli is a great veggy for pasta dishes. But since you already have the salad I think that will be just fine, you don't want to over-do-it.

Well, I personally hate green beans, so I wouldn't make 'em.
But last night I had green salad, spaghetti, strawberry-rhubarb pie, and ice cream. YUMMY!

Salad, bread and spaghetti are enough. I never serve more than that except to have Spumoni for dessert.

Soak the corn, in their Husks in water (to prevent them from burning) and place in the oven & the kernels will boil, bringing out the maximum flavour! No butter, needed. Also, we soak cut-up-yellow squash in Olive Oil and broil until crisp!
My reward would be your consideration of 10 points for the Best answer. Thanks.
