Hey males are human too. And their feeling get hurt and they feel upset at the loss of a relationship also, although some may not exhibit it to others as they are afraid it may show weakness. Relationships I have been involved in have ended and I have become quite emotional as well as felt like I would be alone for the rest of my days many times and end up as a poor old lonely man. But fate, destiny, Karma or whatever is out there as far as relationships go always looks after a person and I ended up finding someone with whom I can honestly say, probably for the first time in my 50 years on earth that I truly love and am in love with. If anything was to happen and I was to lose this lady I know that I would be devistated. But the reality is life would go on and as cold as it may sound so would she and I. But enough of the sappy stuff and back to your question. Guys do get hurt emotionally and most often over relationships. Hope that answers the question that you asked.

The surest way to know that a relationship is truly over is when it ends without the proverbial fireworks that normally go along with a break-up. Perhaps you mattered to him at one time. Perhaps you did not. It's really of little importance. What is important is that you matter to you. His feelings for you, (or the lack thereof) cannot and should not be used as a basis for your future relationships. Men feel. Women feel. But everyone feels and expresses those feelings differently.

I had break up like that as well except there was emotion from my boyfriend. but don't think that he wasn't hurt, some men just don't show their feelings. he just doesn't want you to know how deeply hurt he really is. your 2 years are not lost, you have had some good & bad times, and hopefully you have have learned a few things. whenever you learn, your time is not lost. I hope you feel better soon.

Of courese they do.. I was in a 3 year relationship (and lived together) and it was really hard to get over.. Unfortunately that is part of dating.. The good news it you WILL get over it and will find someone even better for you.. Dating is just like everything else.. Practice makes perfect.. Just try not to get too involved too quickly afterwards or you will start to second guess everything.. It is all about timing.. Good Luck!!

Perhaps he doesn't know exactly how to feel, maybe he's confused, or it just haven't settled in yet.
Maybe he's been feeling like this for awhile, who knows.. some men don't have a conscience about thing's.
Some take it deep, other's couldn't care less.
Main thing.. don't let it bother you either.. an ex is an ex for a reason.
It's good to hear it was a good break-up, many many many don't have good break-up's, it usually turns out ugly.
Perhaps it's just so much to take in, in such little time, and he doesn't know how to react.

Males do hurt. In fact i believe it s a known fact that it takes a man longer to get over a breakup than it does a woman. We just like to pretend that we dont care.

We do have feelings but when we show emotions that aren't anger or happiness we take it as a sign of weakness, even when we're alone.
