Its not.

Its "SHAMEFUL" to say you believe in the bible and not follow it.

It's only shameful for somebody if that person thinks it's shameful. Only you can shame yourself...I can't do it for you.

I suspect that most people who deny God's existence feel ashamed to some degree. We'd have to ask one of those folks why they feel that way.

My experience with that kind of person is that they're very good at denying or covering up their shame. This is nothing new.

I didn't know it was shameful. Which god are we not believing in here, by the way?

It's not. It;s only shameful to people that are narrow minded and think you should believe the same things they do. You can believe what you want and in who you want. Join the Church of The Sub-Genius and worship Bob....

Not believing in god is shameful because if you don't believe you will go to hell.

It isn't. Obviously, someone who does believe in God is going to think you're horrible; but you have to ignore them.

If there is no God you can enjoy being right, and if there is a God then I imagine he'll overlook your ignorance. Of course, if there's a mean God you're in big trouble; but I don't think there's a mean God.

Anyway, its between you and your own God or lack of God and not anyone else's business. For your own convenience, though, maybe don't go around broadcasting your lack of belief...

Well Jesus died on the cross for Your sins so that YOU can be saved, the least you can do is believe in God. Thats just rude, He keeps wanting to have a relationship with you but still you turn Him down.

not really shameful...but it's kinda like a purposeless life...in my opinion anyway...it may seem damn impossible but if you based how much our thought and spirituality has changed over the past centuries, i think that evolution is inevitable..God i think is our ultimate form...not to quote the bible (not a follower) but a person once said (i forgot his name) that during our lifetime, we only use ten percent of our brain...imagine the force we can generate if we can be conscious of our deja vu and dreams...the monks of tibet can now control their body temperature...the shaolins can make hole on the wall with a pin...those are examples of the infinity of the reaches of human energy through the power of the mind.

Best of my knowledge, it isn't shameful. Believe what you want.

It's not shameful it's foolish. Psalm 53:1 "The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good."
