When (IF) you received the card, there should be a huge cardholder agreement in small font and several other contracts. GO OVER THEM BEFORE YOU ACTIVATE OR USE THE CARD. Once you start using the card you are bound by the agreement.

Look in that contracts for annual fees. If you agree with them, start using the card. If not and you have not activated or used the card yet, you generally have 30 days from receipt to cancel the account.

YES. Get rid of it. I'm paying overlimit fees now because of that annual fee.
