Yes. I wholeheartedly believe this life is a test that prepares you for the eternal life with Christ. I'm not claiming that I understand GOD's plan, but the ladder makes sense to me. As we are granted the power of free will, most of us make decisions that affect our lives both negatively, positively and sometimes obliviously. I say obliviously because we sometimes fumble through the minor points of the day with haste not knowing the little things are not all that trivial......When in doubt ,pray! And He will answer! The hardest test to date was caring for a loved one he has entrusted to me. Colors wouldn't be colors, the wind is in your face then GOD is where the heart is.

No. Because that would seriously undermine this world completely. If this life was a test or had a bunch of tests, anything good I do for others, any way I change the world for the better, making a difference in someone's life, will be in vain.
God will one day tell me, "haha life was just a test. All of the changes and improvements you made were not necessary as those people will go to a paradise FOREVER soon, and all of your changes didn't actually affect anything. You wasted your time improving lives for humanity, yet all you had to do was go to church, pray, and not break any commandments to get here. And now you're going to Hell because even though you were a lot more moral than some Catholics and Christians, you questioned my existence!!"
So if one day I have the opportunity to do something good - build some low income housing to end homelessness because the government won't etc, because I care about people, I don't want to find out one day that it was MEANINGLESS. All it did was get me into Heaven. That's ridiculous. How SELFISH. I want my changes to MEAN SOMETHING. I want to do it for other people, not just so I pass the test. I'd rather FAIL the test, but make other people's lives better. I hope this is not a test. I hope this is life is REAL and when I change the world for the better it actually MATTERS and isn't some crazy, meaningless, assinine test by some sadistic GOD who wants to get his jollies off on his little "ant farm" test with us humans on Earth!!

If God loves you, He tests you!! The 12th chapter of Hebrews explains this. Some saints were tested so much, the bible says that "this world was not worthy of them," that is how much their FAITHFULNESS pleased God. Hebrews 12:6 tells us "the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."
So of COURSE the LORD tests us, if we have communion and fellowship with HIM. I'd be scared the day he STOPS testing me!! Let me think about the HARDEST test, though. Uh, uh... hmm. Hard one. Okay, I would say the hardest test is not talking to my husband like I would talk to some ex-boyfriends in the past: just telling him how wrong he is or cursing at him. I try to be much nicer and respectful to him, even when I want to color him with some special words, if you get my drift. He's a good guy but pretty stubborn sometimes.

If you can stand the test of faith you will make it. Yes I am tested. Not by the Lord but Satan stands day and night to accuse those that love the Lord. Just like Job, if you will let me you will see. The Lord lets him, if you are truly rooted and grounded in Jesus nothing can take you away. If you are not it is quite easy to be in the flood. My hardest test is when I lost the use of both of my legs. But I thank the Lord daily and the strength is returning. No way Satan is winning this one, I am blood bought.

Two things come to mind: ONE ~ I was satified in my career, a salaried job, but He directed me to become a small business owner with NO business until someone decides to hire me out of a huge pool of much better qualified people. But I passed the tests and got licensed and all that. Now I sit waiting on business. It is hard sometimes not to get discouraged, but God in the midst of all of this gave me a husband willing to work and provide for our family while God's promise becomes manifested in my life.
The other thing is that years ago I seemed to have met Mr. Absolutly Perfect and it was his Mom who introduced us and thereby immediatly began calling me "Her daughter in law." This man tempted me to no end and we had chemistry that could knock you out cold. He was a test. I had to walk totally away from him. When I learned to resist him and realize he didn't match up to 1 Corinthians 13:4's definition of true love, I would contact him no more, nor take his calls or answer my door when he knocked. My life just fell into a blissfull place after that. That was hard because like I said, the chemistry was completely electrifying and he had the total package I wanted. Pure lust though.
I'm passing by the grace of God. The joy of the LORD is my strength. How about you? What's been YOUR hardest test?
HEB. 12: 6 For whom God loveth He chasteneth... a proverb, too.

Just a simple test of day to day faith is something I'm going through right now, and it can be pretty difficult! But the more I lean on Him and trust Him, the easier it becomes. Each day is a gift, and I try to live that to the fullest. Life itself is definitely a test, but sometimes the smallest tests can change everything.

Everyday is a test. I think even the little things. Like if something falls or I drop something I'd like to think God is testing my patience and just brush it off. For that matter I gues life is just a big test and on judgement day you'll find out how you did.

Yes I have felt God has tested me and the hardest thing would be when my ex husband ran off with our daughter who at the time was only a yr old.. I turned to God and never gave up my faith that he would bring her back to me.. She is now 5 yrs old and I did miss a year and a half of her life but God did get her back to me like I knew he would.. God test us all the time it is up to us reather we give up on him or keep our faith in him...
