The world's BEST cookie to make with kids uses no utinsels, works like playdough, and tastes like heaven. They're called Aggression Cookies, and they're used often in preschools. You can add anything you want to the recipe...chocolate or carob chips, peanuts or other nuts, raisins, etc.

Aggression Cookies

A thin, crispy, buttery cookie that is a fun, easy cookie to make and is perfect for making with children as you mash and squish and form (thus the name aggression cookies). Perfect! Also good with raisins/currants.

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 Tablespoon baking soda
1-1/2 cups margarine or butter, softened
1-1/2 cups flour
3 cups oatmeal

Butter the bottom of a small glass and dip it into granulated sugar and mash the cookie flat, just a little. You only have to butter the glass once or twice but be sure and dip in sugar for each cookie. (I don't do this...I drop mine in globs onto the cookie sheet so that they're thick, soft, and gooey...mmmm).

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool a few minutes then remove from pan to cooling rack.

It's more of a candy than a cookie, but once when I was babysitting we made this, and the kids LOVED it!

Fried Egg Candy
1 package (15 ounces) pretzel sticks
1 package (12 ounces) vanilla or white chips
48 yellow M&M's

Place pretzel sticks on waxed paper in groups of two, leaving a small space between each. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat vanilla chips at 70% power until melted; stir until smooth. Drop by tablespoonfuls over each pair of pretzel sticks. For "yolks", place one or two M&M's in the center of each "egg". Yield: about 3-1/2 dozen.

The pretzels are the little sticks of bacon and then you make a candy "egg"! They're really cute and easy for kids to help with! I got the idea from a magazine called Quick Cooking about 5 years ago!

Blueberry Crumb Bars
(Cheap and easy to make. Kids love them. Any berry can be used)

1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup shortening
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 pinch ground cinnamon (optional)
4 cups fresh blueberries
1/2 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons cornstarch

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.

In a medium bowl, stir together 1 cup sugar, 3 cups flour, and baking powder. Mix in salt and cinnamon, if desired. Use a fork or pastry cutter to blend in the shortening and egg. Dough will be crumbly. Pat half of dough into the prepared pan.

In another bowl, stir together the sugar and cornstarch. Gently mix in the blueberries. Sprinkle the blueberry mixture evenly over the crust. Crumble remaining dough over the berry layer.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until top is slightly brown. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Just make chocolate chip cookies. They're the best, easy, and the dough tastes good too :) Get the recipe from the back of the bag.

1 box spice or German chocolate cake mix
1 box of white cake mix
1 package white sandwich cookies
1 large package vanilla instant pudding mix
A few drops green food coloring
12 small Tootsie Rolls or equivalent

SERVING "DISHES AND UTENSILS"

1 NEW cat-litter box
1 NEW cat-litter box liner
1 NEW pooper scooper

Prepare and bake cake mixes, according to directions, in any size pan. Prepare pudding and chill. Crumble cookies in small batches in blender or food processor. Add a few drops of green food coloring to 1 cup of cookie crumbs. Mix with a fork or shake in a jar. Set aside. When cakes are at room temperature, crumble them into a large bowl. Toss with half of the remaining cookie crumbs and enough pudding to make the mixture moist but not soggy. Place liner in litter box and pour in mixture.

Unwrap 3 Tootsie Rolls and heat in a microwave until soft and pliable. Shape the blunt ends into slightly curved points. Repeat with three more rolls. Bury the rolls decoratively in the cake mixture. Sprinkle remaining white cookie crumbs over the mixture, then scatter green crumbs lightly over top.

Heat 5 more Tootsie Rolls until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with crumbs from the litter box. Heat the remaining Tootsie Roll until pliable and hang it over the edge of the box.

Place box on a sheet of newspaper and serve with scooper. Enjoy!
