Sadie, God is the First Cause, the Author of all things, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. All things came to be because of God and apart from Him nothing is.

Time is meaningless for God because He is the Author of time. The concept of a beginning and an end only concerns us because we are human and we are not wired to understand eternity. God is eternal, He simply Is.

The concept is difficult to understand. I think your mind is stuck in the earth rut of reality, your parents were conceived by their parents, their parents etc. ad infinitum, until possibly you go too far back in time to count the people as humans, they're apes!

In the following argument...I will try and explain drawing a parallel with life on earth and 'death'.
I think when we are not 'in the physical'...i.e dead or not yet born, how can we reproduce without the sperm and ovum our bodies provide on earth? I must conclude that we therefore are interstellar beings in an incarnation on earth...and therefore have no 'heavenly' parents. No one created us (we always existed?)because it's not possible without the biology. thus we sprang out of the cosmos in a moment of self awakening...we always existed, and the earth reality only enables us to reproduce, confusing the odd person about who was the father of God.

Have you ever heard that expression "If I don't leave now, I'll meet myself coming back?" Perhaps it was like that. Perhaps it's all a circle, and god created himself.

I don't actually believe that, but your question made me think of that saying, which in turn .... hey, it's a circle!

I know your little brain cant comprehend this (dont worry no ones little brain can... because we are human) but God has been forever. It is hard to believe because being human we only believe what we know. The life we know is that your born, you live, you die. We cant comprehend forever. When we die we will live forever because God is forever and has always been. In the Bible He says 'I am the first and the last, the alpha and omega'. All you can do is trust His word, you will see it eventually.

God has always been there. He is eternal! It's hard for us to understand something to be eternal because everything has a beginning and end, but God has always been there, is here, and will always be here and forever more.

Nobody created God. We are all alone.

I think the problem with your question is that you assume time is real (which came first...). What if time is only a perception caused by the brain (like music/harmony)?
