Congrats on your nuptials! The scrapbook idea, with the message if possible cut out and visible by or on top of the card, I have seen that. If the message was written on the other side of the design, make a copy of it, and use that in the book. Use card stock, and group the cards on the copy machine and cut them out if you want the quality of the card itself used for the message. If you wish, write on the back of the card who these people are. Trust me, you might not remember in 25 years. Using the cards as part of the decorations for a wedding or photo album or as a part of the scrapbook would be cute, too. If you like part of a design of a card, cut it out! Glue it if you like! Otherwise, the tradition is to wrap them up with a ribbon tied around them, and put them in your hope chest that is now a keepsake chest. Seriously, I do not know anyone who ever did a hope chest, except my parents. And I still have it. Go to Michael's into the scrap book section, and look at all those fancy stickers you can buy for a scrapbook. With a good pair of scissors, you can create those, for free. My friend used a a program for the background of a shadow box, it would have been cute to use parts of cards in it. Barring all this, call your local nursing home and ask if they would like to have them. Or ask a grade school teacher at school or church school if she might have a use for them. Great for Valentine's day crafts. Cut out the messages and signatures, first. Not safe for the sender to give someone their signature.

All my happiness goes out to you:
Pride and pleasure, joy, sweet tears, and love!
Reason, hope, and faith together move
In harmony to bless all that you do.
Let this beginning be the golden dawn
At which all dew-drenched nature sings its glory!
Nor should the darkness shrouding every story
Dim the blue-eyed beauty of this morn.
More of life will come than you can hold:
A flood no mortal witness can withstand.
Rest, then, within a quiet, gentle hand,
Knowing where love is as you grow old
Ok, i didn't write this, but it's really quite sweet! Try the website below for some more ideas!

I got this from a Mercedes Lackey book and it's the best thing I've ever read about a marriage.
Now you will no longer fear the storm, for you find shelter in each other.
Now the winter cannot harm you, for you warm each other with love.
Now when strength fails, you will be the wind to each other’s wings.
Now the darkness holds no danger, for you will be the light to each other’s path.
Now you will defy despair, for you will bring hope to each other’s heart.
Now there will be no more loneliness, for there will always be a hand reaching out to aid you when all seems darkest.
Where there were two paths, now there is one.
May your days together be long upon the earth, and each day blessed with joy in each other.
Some of the best advice about weddings is in the same book:
This bond, this joining, is not meant to be a fetter. A joining is a partnership, not two people becoming one. A joining is a partnership, not two people becoming one. Two minds cannot fuse, two souls cannot merge, two hearts cannot keep to the same time. If two are foolish enough to try this, one must overwhelm the other, and that is not love, nor is it compassion, nor responsibility. You are two who choose to walk the same path, to bridge the differences between you with love. You must remember and respect those differences and learn to understand them, for they are part of what made you come to love in the first place. Love is patient, love is willing to compromise—love is willing to admit it is wrong. There will be hard times; you must face them as bound warriors do, side by side, not using the weapon of your knowledge to tear at each other. There will be sadness as well as joy, and must support one another through the grief and sorrow. There will be pain—but pain shared is pain halved, as joy shared is joy doubled, and you each must sacrifice your own comfort to share the pain of the other. And yet, you must do all this and manage to keep each other from wrong actions, for a joining means that you also pledge to help one another at all times. You must lead each other by example. Guide and be willing to be guided. Being joined does not mean that you accept what is truly wrong, being joined means that you must strive that you both remain in the light and the right. You must not pledge yourselves thinking that there will be no strife between you. That is fantasy, for you are two and not one, and there will inevitably come conflict that it will be up to you to resolve. You must not pledge yourselves thinking that all will be well from this moment on. That is a dream, and dreamers must eventually wake. You must come to this joining fully ready, fully committed, and fully respectful of each other.

How about an Irish Wedding Blessing?...
May God be with you and bless you.
May you see your children's children.
May you be poor in misfortunes
and rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
from this day forward.
-or-
May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.
-or-
May the blessing of light be on you—
light without and light within.
May the blessed sunlight shine on you
and warm your heart
till it glows like a great peat fire.
-or-
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Quote the first part of the poem "I love you" by Roy Croft. It's incredibly powerful and very romantic:
I love you
Not only for what you are,
But for what I am
When I am with you.
I love you,
Not only for what
You have made of yourself,
But for what
You are making of me.

The day you both met
you were made complete
the love in your eyes
I think is soooo sweet.
Short and silly, but not too gushy

I was waiting for you since I knew love existed
I was hoping to find you when I found my self alone
I wanted to hear your voice while my tears caught me in pain
I never gave up,because I always knew, you were out there to be found.

soft eyes touch
filled with a longer silence
a gaze
