Is it that they don't understand that a Cadillac is a machine that wouldn't exist if people didn't assemble it from metal, plastic, etc.?

Do they not know the difference between organic and inorganic matter?

Or are they so desperately grasping at straws to prove that 'god just made everything', that they'll come up with any ridiculous statement about evolution and repeat it ad nauseum?

How many people are going to misunderstand evolution completely when they answer this and say 'if evolution is true why are there still monkeys"? (Because humans and chimps have a common ancestor. Ever see an evolutionary branch chart? It isn't all that difficult a concept.)

But I'm sure they'll use the banana answer. It's a prepackaged natural food that proves god exists. That’s BRILLIANT.

The real problem is that the schools are doing as good a job as they can but then these kids go to a church and get brainwashed into this god thing.
So the why doesn't a hurricane make a cadilac . . Because that is a man made design?

Actually, the odd things in, the Cadillac *has* evolved. Sure, guided by humans - but modern Caddies are a lot different from the originals. They underwent a process of not-quite-natural selection.

this could be a powerful question yet do not forget that their "concept" has been around for an extremely long term and has never produced a single shred of exact information to returned it up. A one thousand+ years is a protracted time to look ahead to a single piece of information plenty as helping the literal Biblical interpretation of the Bible. i think of we could desire to continually in basic terms save engaged on the technology that definitely works. In technology, perception is beside the point till it produces outcomes. fact does not care who it makes happy.

Well, I'm a molecular biologist who understands evolution quite well, and I still don't think it can account for everything unless it was directed by God. Natural selection and mutation are insufficient explanations. They account for a lot, but not everything.
