I completely agree! It would be a cold day in hell before I ever support abortion! But, you know how Liberals are! I wish Bush would ban abortions!

Sorry but one has NOTHING to do with the other. Abortion is a medical procedure.. (I wonder if you know that the term abortion also refers to misscarriages as well) anyway.. it is NOT empowering for a woman to have an abortion but a difficult decision that is HER CHOICE.. it is HER body, if she choses NOT to have a fetus living off of her that is HER Choice. IT is HER body, until science can find a way to let that fetus live off something else other than a human female...then we'll talk. Also what about rapes and incest they are horrible crimes.. AND HAPPEN TO MEN as well as women.. if you really think that men look at women as only pleasure objects then you are hanging around the wrong men.. there are bad apples in every bunch.. just like the PRO lifers that kill people to try and get their point across..

Why do pro-lifer's believe they have the right to sit in judgment of everyone else? Abortion is the right of a woman because it is her body! Abortion is not a decision that is undertaken lightly - it's not as if every little girl dreams of growing up one day, getting pregnant with a defective child or as the result of rape and having an abortion. It also leaves emotional scars. I'll come against abortion when pro-lifer's solve the rampant problems of child abuse and get all the unwanted children in foster care placed into loving homes. Until then, I don't think anyone has the right to pass judgment on women who decide that abortion is a way out of an untenable situation.

You have all the makings of a uni-bomber all wrapped up into one cute little "Save the Babies" campaigner! I wash my hands because it seems that you are only getting more confused on the issues, rather than less confused. You really need to stop & realize that you cannot & will not be able to help anyone by making such rash generalizations in regards to women or men. You are headed for a burnout. We are ALL unique & one-of-a-kind creations, yet we are all connected by the force of creation. Please try to ACCEPT life on life's terms & know that the mistakes that people have made have a purpose & a reason that we cannot know the WHY of everything that we do not understand or agree with. We ALL should look at life with a more open & accepting spirit & we just may see something we missed because this time we are looking at it differently. I truly feel your pain & confusion in your questions & although I use harsh wording, I feel it is time to tell you that I am truly concerned about your continued confusion in regards to life & people. You are getting far too many "mixed messages" from the vast cross-section of users on this site & you might want to just step back & give it a rest until you can absorb it in a healthier way that helps you to better understand reality. The internet is not reality & so many people just write fiction that further complicates issues for people who are unsure of what life is all about, thus making them "victims" of too much information. I worry that you have received far too much information from unstable sources & this could be causing your continued questioning of life.

1] Not all men treat women like trash. On the most basic biological level men are doing what their bodies are programmed to do as males which is to impregnate as many females as possible. Pornography and prostitution are commodities and in a Capitalistic world what sells is what counts.
2) [Women]Not all rape and incest is reported so your percentage of 1-3 percent has no basis in fact.
Males are also victims of rape and incest.
The legal right to abortion empowers women who make their own choice for whatever reason they want and the law does not required them to get your permission unless it is your daughter under the age of 18 that wants an abortion..
Sex has evolved and women can give and receive sexual pleasure for what ever reason they want.
Basically I think you are wallowing in moral indignation and angry that you cannot control the behavior of others.

Sounds like to me you already have a strong opinion on this and sounds like your very bias so why even answer the question you sound to be very one sided.
Your facts are way off base, and are very inaccurate. There are more factors on why a women chooses to abort a baby, yes for some it is used more as birth control but for many it is not an easy thing for a women to go through.
Factor in also that doctors will recommend a baby to be aborted due to diseases the mother may have. Or if she is at high risk of even having the baby your best bet it to do your research on this and then ask a question. Because personally when I read this question it made me sick to my stomach to see how much hate are in your words.

I don't mean to imply that women deserve to be treated this way, but you teach people how to treat you. If he hits you once, it should also be the last time. I don't accept "I can't afford to leave" or "I have nowhere to go" as final answers. There are always options if we seek them.
If you have children you can't afford NOT to leave. There are also many women who are made to feel they deserve abuse and because of damaged self-esteem, won't even consider leaving.
Others, men and women, will mind their own business and not even attempt to reach out to these women. It's sad the way we treat each other and the way we ignore each other is inexcusable!
Abortion is about choice, not empowerment. I disagree with your stats on rape and incest because this is NOT something a clinic or private physician will document at all. You are not required to state the circumstances of conception before getting an abortion.
Women have rarely been "glorified" and held "sacred", have frequently been "abased" and "degraded" and I don't feel most of us would seek to be glorified by men because as you stated it would be about the "body". But, I'll speak only for myself... I would prefer to be, not glorified, but respected for my intellect, empathy and giving nature above all else... especially above my ability to bear offspring or because I look good in a bikini.

I support Abortion because I believe it is a woman's choice to have children. I was raped by a man when I 13 and I discovered that I was pregnant by my rapist. But I had a miscarriage because I didn't eat for a month and I did a lot of drugs during my pregnancy. I didn't want the baby because I wasn't suited to be a mother. I don't want kids because I don't believe in being a mother. If my baby was to live I wouldn't care for them because my heart is too small and cold to give out love to someone I never wanted. Why should I love someone who I never wished for?I'm not trying to be cruel, but that's how I see it. If I were to get a abortion, it would do it for my choice and my own well-being and I don't believe in having children out of wedlock.

I disagree.... i do no longer think of abortion empowers women persons. women persons grow to be empowered whilst they have complete administration over their bodies. If this "determination" is taken faraway from women persons, what's going to the subsequent one be? What if i choose chemotherapy sometime and the government makes a decision for some reason that this is undesirable for the ecosystem or against some one else's ethics so i are not getting the treatment i choose. yet an option determination is taken away. much less government is what we choose. i comprehend women persons in relationships that made the determination to have abortions for inner maximum motives, no longer as a results of fact they have been intercourse toys for adult males. it fairly is a pretend argument too. Your version of girls persons as gadgets of entertainment with a speedy fix from abortion is resembling the do something you like and God will forgive you thought. i comprehend extra people who sin usually and use the excuse that each physique would be forgiven....unwell! i'm professional-determination, i do no longer choose somebody else making my judgements for me. i does not have an abortion myself, yet there became right into a time i'd have seen it. i visit proceed to assist, with out judgement, my buddies that have long previous for the period of the journey. If abortions are finally banned in numerous states, i visit income the thank you to accomplish them effectively so the ladies persons that gets them besides would be risk-free.

why are you asking this as a question when it's obvious you have already made a decision?
this isn't supposed to be a platform for your opinions. this is a question and answer forum - and NOTHING constructive can come from you just blatting out your opinion without allowing for a couple of cups of coffee and some face time for a real conversation. especially about something as personal, painful, and critical as the subject of abortion and abortion rights can be.
farting in the wind is not the same as engaging in meaningful, useful debate.

Preaching to the choir here, but I did want to add somethng.
Abortion removes consequences from sexual activity, and as such it reduces sex from a passionate union between man and wife to a casual encounter with as much apparent importance to the participants as a video game. Abortion is the ultimate denial of responsibility and does more hamr to a person's development than anything else.
