I wouldn't call it a sin, but I do think it would displease God.. that is my personal thoughts. Whenever you are about do something as serious as this, ask yourself these questions: eg

1) Why am i getting this nose job?
2) Will it alter my life in any way? positive or negative?
3) Am i doing it because i want people to notice me/treat me differently, or because i feel badly about myself?
4) Is there something else i can do to solve the problem that may have been mentioned in Question 4 that may not require physical alterations?

God gave us this body, and we are to take care of it as best as we can. To cut and paste pieces of our body, I don't know it is like telling Him that he didn't make your nose right, so you are going to fix it.... you will have to talk to Him about that. After all, It IS HIM who determines what is sin and what is not...

Be Blessed =)

to answer this question you have to know why you want a nose job. do you want a nose job because you have health problems with your nose? or do you want a nose job because you think your nose is ugly?
if you are concerned about sin then you probably know that God loves you just the way you are.
so no it's not a sin to have a nose job but comsidered what i've said. think about why you want some one cutting you open and hacking away at your body.

No. Is it because of an accident that may need that to be done or is it because you can't stand looking at the body that God gave you. Your beautiful however God made you no matter what other people place on you as judgement.

I would say say.Because bible said that they way god made you is the way you should be.I dont remmmber where it says that but it does.So having a nosejob would be like correcting Gods work. You see what i mean.its like saying youre wrong god and im right. So think about it.

I don't think so...but I do believe that many people have mental illness when it comes to body image. Those people who radically alter their appearance ( like Michael Jackson) are going to be surprised when they are resurrected with a body more or less like the one that they started with.

no, but i don't think you have to get a nosejob, for God thinks all his people are beautiful and unique in their own way. so whether you're "ugly" or not, God doesn't care becuz you're always beautiful.

As a christian I would say no, it's not a sin. But I would suggest praying about it and God can change your self image.
You need to see yourself as God created you and know that you are perfect in His sight no matter what.
