I have met a lot of gay blokes that don't do penetration, so I think its a lot to do with foreplay. If you do go for it, wear a condom (or get him to) and use plenty of lubricant, this HAS to be a water based one. This is important because things like baby oil or Vaseline damage the condom and also harbour germs. The last thing you want is an infection there because your lube collected germs!
make sure nails are well filled again because of infection.
As for tips for good gay sex, I'd say like any sex get well into the mood before you try anything too physical. Always more enjoyable that way.

dont listen to people who say dont do it first off cause to them their kind of sex is just as grose to you I bet .Do it safe and make sure you use lubricate also get yourself checked out every now and again cause you never know .Also take it slow and do not rush it I know a some gay guys who said it does hurt at first (but any hetro couple who have anal sex are doing exactly the same as you ).Just be carefull hope this helps.good tip for oral use space dust it pops in your mouth and apparently feels really good
