I recently used on line advertisement for my vehicles and i got those same responses. It sounds fishy to my husband and myself.. I say keep trying to sell it locally and take CASH ONLY!! If you havent yet try selling it on craigslist for your local area, thats where mine are and i already sold one within 2weeks.

Of course its a scam. They will send you an overseas cashiers' check, which will clear your bank in about 7 - 10 days. In about 20 days, the check will make it to the overseas bank, where it will be declared a counterfeit check and the money will be taken back out of your account. Of course, by then the scammer has already cashed your GOOD check.
If your vehicle is particularly rare and valuable (a classic or limited edition car) you could have legitimate longer distance buyers. However these kind of buyers would not be buying your vehicle without extensive phone conversations and many pictures.

If the respond on your question must be summed up in in basic terms 3 words, they could be those 3 words: The corporation media. regardless of if, that doesn't bypass into sufficient element to particularly tell the story. Make no mistake approximately it: the corporation "mainstream" media grew to become into very needless to say in the proverbial tank for Barack Obama in 2008. The sympathetic portrayals that come from the corporation media of the OWS circulation are enormously loads of a chew with their coverage of Barack Obama returned in 2008. As for the Tea occasion circulation - nicely, what could one assume from needless to say biased media like that, different than offering a megaphone for the speaking factors of the Obama administration and its political allies, such because of fact the ludicrous and pathetic fact that the Tea occasion protests have been mere "astroturf?"

Cashiers checks are more secure than personal checks, for they will be cleared by the bank.
Pricing depends on your region. You may think that your vehicle is expensive where you're at, but it may be cheaper else where. I come across this a lot with Jeeps.

Total scam. The check is no good (call the bank and verify it, if you like),
By the time the banks catch the error, your car will be gone, the cost of shipping (out of your pocket) will be gone and the funds that they gave you will be reversed, die to bank fraud.
