Take him to the vet without delay. This very well could be the symptom of something very serious.

Take the cat to the vet IMMEDIATELY. Repeat vomiting is a distinct red flag that something is wrong. The digestive tract could be blocked, there could be an infection, any number of things, but a vet must see the cat or damage can be done. My cat was vomiting a lot about 6 months ago and we took her to the vet and it turned out she had athsma and the vomiting was a result of her not being able to breathe. Her esophagus could have been severely damaged by this.

Take your cat to the vet. I don't know what you are feeding your cat. We all feel that cat loves fish. Most of the time the vet will tell you not to give them fish or even the dry food that is fish flavored. You don't want to wait until he is too weak. Sometimes when they are too weak and they have to get a shot, the shot becomes too strong for them and they die. Plus, he is punishing when he is puking like that.

You didn't specify the age of your cat and whether or not it is a house cat or goes outside so that question is hard to answer. I would suggest a vet visit for your cat. I know it is expensive but if the cat is throwing up he/she could become dehydrated.

He could have irritable bowels. Or there could be something in his food that is aggrivating his stomach.
I have a cat that used to vomit a lot. We took her to the vet and found out that she had irritable bowels. Since then we've been giving her a pill of prednisone every day and the vomiting stopped.

IOur cat does this too. The vet said he is eating too fast. She said to put his food into an ice cube tray so that he has to take the time to eat slowly. It worked! Also, don't give him/her too much food.

Is it undigested food? If he's throwing up right after eating, he might be eating too fast. Instead of a bowl, put his food on a plate. It slows them down.
