if they really want shariat law, they must also accept the punishments suggested in sharia for their terrorist acts. if a Muslim is caught as a thief, his arm is to be amputated and found in adultery, he is to be stoned to death. i don't think they would accept for it.

I wish to live in a republic but the UK isn't one. People can wish whatever they want. The question could be put the other way couldn't it? 67% of British Muslims don't want to live under Sharia law. That puts a different perspective on it doesn't it? Oh and by the way I wish people would answer the question using correct spelling.

The worst thing about Britain is it seems to be populated by increaingly small minded, intolerant people.

It is not so much theSharia Law it is more and more the number of Moslems living in the UK who are becoming radicalised and visiting their revenge on a peaceful Society. They would never do it in a Country that adopts Sharia Law because they know the consequences whereas here they will probably get Community Service.

Asian cultures have a higher average number of children then native British people, so maybe they will dramatically increase in no. and become the majority. I think it says very little for a persons character if they move to another country and don't try and integrate into that culture, it particularly angers me when people who have lived here for years still dont speak the language. So like you I would prefer that 33% to leave our country and stop trying to alter our culture, though I have nothing against the other 67%.

Sharia law will never be applied in this country unless extreme Muslims make up the majority of the population and even with their higher birth-rates this would take centuries. By which time hopefully all religion will be a thing of the past. only secular government has any chance of solving this countries and the worlds problems. If you believe in God ,worship in the privacy of your home/church/mosque/temple and leave those of us still capable of independent thought out of your crazy ideas.

I live in the states, so don't know much about UK law. I think if they practiced their law, they would be breaking laws here! You can't cut someones hand off or stone them! Otherwise, I don't care how they want to live as long as they aren't trying to force their law on me!

I live by the Amish. No electric, horse and buggy's, but nice enough people. Not the way I want to live, but if it makes them happy, I am all for it!

the problem with sharia law is that it attempts to impose itself on everybody else. It will probably be introduced here soon enough (UK) because they can claim that british law offends them as a minority. So, if its introduction was purely for muslims that would be fine but, they will insist that it has to apply to everybody else. Few of us will survive! (That bit of fish was good enough for Jehovah!). The world will once again be plunged into the dark ages.

And it's never going to be introduced in the UK. End of story, there would be rioting in the streets if it was.

But because we live in a free society they are free to believe what they want and vote for what they want, just like racists like you are entitled to vote for the BNP if the choose.

Me personally, I'm hoping that people start to grow up and vote for a liberal, happy, multi cultural and secular nation - which is what we actually are.

Live and let live.

Timothy you say you live by Amish and suggest no electric infact they want nothing but those black buggys they ride about in .Well my experience when I'm in Penn I see plenty of use of the modern world in their lives and electric as you mentioned what serves those large cylos they have on their farms and I have seen electric light in their houses and they dress modern up to when they have to prepare their beards to prove their status and dress accordingly, I live in uk by the way. Oh the question British muslims are leaving to live in their dream society, so whats holding them back, let me guess

Give them time!!!
Do not forget that muslim civilisation did not start 600 years after Christian civilisation. 600 years ago we roamed the ends of the earth exterminating entire civilisations in the name of God(and for the states treasury of course)
They still need time to realise that mixing affairs of state with politics is a disastrous combination as the west allready found out in the times of the American and French revolution.

Those would be the extreme Muslim MEN.

I would not want to live in any religious Autocracy, even a Christian one.

The government should take care of matters of state, and I should be free to worship as I see fit.

Sharia Law should scare everyone.
