i like this man [34] . i think he is perfect for me & my kids.we have a good time alone while were in my house.but,he wont invite me around his friends or his family.should i just give up on him? ive tried and he convinces me things are fine between us.i havent loved anyone but my kids dad & i dont like the whole dating scene.

This could mean a couple of things.
Some l people aren't proud of their family ..but you mentioned his friends too. So it's sounds like he might not be proud of you. You haven't been "out there" that much ... just with your husband and this guy. That could be it. You are convenient. ..he likes to be with you but you aren't presentable.
Talk to him. Ask him if it's your clothes, make-up ... education, or where you live? Do you guys do things together besides sex? Do you go out and have fun?
Comon' you probably really know what's goin' on here.

Need more info. How long have yall been dating? Are you inviting yourself or your whole tribe to meet his people for the first time? How has he handled family interactions with previous relationships? Does he have kids? and finally, Has he ever dated a single mom before?

Why won't he invite you over? There must be something or someone else or a reason why he hasn't invited you around his family. Maybe you should question him some more or do some researching.

he wants just you. not the whole package. dating with kids is the hardest thing in the world and you can't blame the guy.

You need to make at least ONE trip to where he lives for a tour. If he won't show you his entire abode, dump him.
