They roost where ever it is safe. Depends on the bird. Trees, cliffs, caves, but mostly trees.

Some do get caught by cats while they sleep. It depends whether they are in a tree or a bush. They also make nests in the underside of overhangs on buildings. Some nest in open fields.
It all depends on the type of bird.
Hope this helps! Have a great day!

Birds sleep in their nests in the spring...when they are breeding. Otherwise they just find a safe warm place in a tree or bush and roost for the night. Many birds are eaten while sleeping and many female are eaten while they sleep on their nests as well.
