I assumed that you all belonged and believed in the KKK? So then why do a lot of you believe that all Mexicans belong and believe in La Raza and Mecha? Is it too hard to judge based on individuality and not attack the race? I bet you would think a friend of mine is illgal just because he's Mexican. If you actually got to know him, you would change your mind in a heartbeat.

I don't believe all Mexicans, or all Americans of Mexican descent belong to those organizations. I was blown away to find that our Mayor did, to be honest.

Your first mistake is starting any question or statement with an assumption. Secondly, being "anti-illegal" I don't believe that all mexican illegal immigrants belong to La Raza or Mecha. I know some people who are here in the US under their own power and not with permission of the US government and some of them are very nice, hardworking people. Others...not so much.

That being said, I still think they should all be deported. My family arrived in this country in the mid-1700's. They fought the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, WW1 and 2. They built farms, businesses, paid taxes, educated their children and raised families all without public assistance. They never asked their country for anything other than the opportunity to make successes of themselves.

For that reason, I consider myself a Native American. I would dishonor my family and heritage if I stood silent and allowed people from any country to enter this one illegally and take advantage of everything my family (and millions of others) worked so hard to build. I may as well let someone into my grandmother's house and piss on her.

Being an illegal has nothing to do with how a person acts. A person could have grown up in this country and be completely assimilated and still be illegal. I actually lived in a largely illegal community when I was growing up, and let me tell you something most of the steryotypes are completely true.
As far as the KKK thing- not all of the anti-illegals are white. Nobody judges the issue based on a race, I have not once attacked a race in here.
I think you are just responding to one person in here, not all of the anti-illegals, we are for the most part pro-immigration, as long as you do it legally.

I am a PRO-LEGAL and if I were in the KKK I'd be in a lot of trouble because my husband is a BLACK man who is also an IMMIGRANT. Can you figure that out or are YOU SO PREJUDICED that you can't see through your HATRED to understand PLAIN LOGIC?

PLEASE EXPLAIN what is racist about promoting LEGAL immigration over ILLEGAL immigration? First of all, is illegal immigration a race? I'm sorry, but I've never heard of that race before.

If you came to my house uninvited and I asked you to leave for whatever of 100,000 reasons I might have, would you think you had the right to curse me and tell me that I can't ask you to leave. I don't know where you were raised, but where I was raised you would be considered STUPID as well as RUDE. How dare you come to America illegally and then get angry that AMERICANS want you to go home and come back when you are LEGAL. I'll bet your country has no tolerance for ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Obviously the ingnorance runs rampant on both sides of the fence. Not all white people automatically assume all hispanic-looking persons are illegal or in a gang. Also, before you choose your insult you should know that there are more differences between an organized crime gang La Raza, Mecha, and the KKK.

That's a rather simplistic point of view, don't you think?

I don't assume all Mexicans are La Raza, or M.E.C.h.A., as a matter of fact, I have many Mexican American friends who are Minutemen, or otherwise involved in the fight against illegal immigration. For you to assume that all who are anti-illegal immigration put all Hispanics into one little box is not only short-sighted, but somewhat intolerant and bigotted on your part, yes?

Illegal is illegal. I have nothing against legal immigrants of any ethnicity; and I never make assumptions as to someone's legal status. Of course, the inability to speak or understand English is pretty much a dead give-away, as a fair grasp of the English language is a requirement for citizenship.

My personal feelings towards someone are incredibly irrelevant when it comes to deciding whether that person is legal or here's the big word..ILLEGAL! Come on,do you understand that there are laws here in the U.S. And some of those laws, while being rather archaic are still laws. You cannot immigrate to this country illegally. It should be that simple, but because of the huge latino population, the politicians are afraid to do anything becuase the party that does will lose those votes. Which by the way is retarded. I would think people want the government to enforce the laws, be they white, black, latino, or asian. If a law is broken the person should be punished. If the law is bad, which it is not in this case, the law should be abolished. Let me re-iterate though, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PERSONAL FEELINGS TOWARD ONE INDIVIDUAL!

I have nothing against the Mexicans or there race.
What I do think is, if they want to live here in the USA then they need to apply for a green card and abide by or laws.
They also need to enter the USA legally at the border.

I have several friends that are Mexicans and they entered the USA from the border and they have SS# and pay income taxes at the end of the year. They also took the test to become citizens of the USA.

If these anti-immigrants actually got to know ANY Mexican (of course, there is always few exceptions, but you can say that about any ethnic group) they would change their minds. They are just too short sided, and ignorant to even do that. They are scared of people that are different from them, and think that since they were born in this country, that they are *privileged* and want to keep everyone out.

Also, they think that it's easy to immigrate to the US legally. A Mexican who is trying to go through the legal channels to come to this country would probably die of old age before given the chance. They just don't understand that. Ignorance again.

I don't even know who La Raza or Mecha ARE, much less give a sh1t about them.

What I DO care about is undocumented individuals slipping into the country, for *whatever* purpose.

didn't you just ask this? The only people I know that belong to those hate groups, and they are hate groups, are the people that confess it.

For every illegal you know, I know 100 - all nicer and sweeter than you, and it makes no difference. I hope you find it in you should you be the victim of a violent crime against women to be so compassionate against your attacker. Just as your feminimity can be violated, so is our citizenship and our lives are being lost for it also.

More people are killed by illegals every year in America than our soldiers die in Iraq.

I invite you to do your own homework for anything you do not understand I have said.
