if i really want it and GOD knows that it would be GOD for me and i pray for constantly....would God grant me the ability to communicate with animals even if hte only thing was that i talked to them and they listened and responded to me??

Why would you want to talk to them? Remember that your the best of God's creatures and no other creature has been blessed with the similar mental capacity like human.

You can communicate with animals. I do all the time. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, and a bird. They do understand you to a certain extent. Body language and tone of voice is a good line of communication. I don't think the Gods will grant you the ability of Dr. Doolittle though. Much more other important things being asked for.

After having had a dog for years I believe that there is a kind of communication between the two of us. She tells me when she wants to go for a walk, now exactly when it is 17.30 time for supper and so many other things. Sometimes I just point a finger and she reacts. So to a certain extent I believe there is this possibility.

First define your terms. Do you mean communicate or talk with a common language? Animals don't have language. (I still remain an agnostic on chimp and gorilla sign language.) But some of the mammals get their messages across. The classic one is the dog who brings it's owner the leash. She is saying "I need a walk please" as clearly as she could if she had language.
As for god, he has been pretty silent around these parts too.

Just because animals don't speak the same laguage as you and I do does not mean that they aren't already communicating with you. They just don't communicate the same way we do. It's a matter of being able to understand their communication. You do not have to pray for this understanding - it can be taught and learned.

before one can attempt to answer this question one must know what is an "animla". without knowing, i would say that one "animla" can communicate with another one, especially if they're of the opposite sex.

Yes, it is possible. In fact, you can communicate with them now. Just try calling "Here, kitty kitty kitty," and see if they don't respond to you. A can of tuna fish can help.

Well my wee dog knows every word you say and can certainly let you know what she wants usually a biscuit or walk
