christianity is for the ignorant and gullible. the more liberal fanctions try to butter it up and make christianity a religion of love. but you cant fix something that is broken beyond repair, the religion was founded on bloodshed and on trying to convert as many people as possible.........by any means possible including death threats and actual murder. because most christians are teenagers they dont know any better yet, but some of them have caught on and deconverted, however some are so indoctorinated so brainwashed that they believe every word that thier priest and bible says. and those are the ones that will lose out in life.

Why are most of you atheist so hateful in here? I see many many more questions by non-christians slamming christian beliefs than I see christians attacking others. And if a handfull of christians are acting poorly do you judge the entire population by those loud few? Most christians are kind hearted helpful people, yes they may try at times to extend their beliefs to you but typically they back off once you identify that your not interested. But they truly believe that bad will happen to you if you don't learn to know God. So think of it like this if you knew someone was going to be hit by a car but the car was not coming down the street until sometime in the future but some how you knew this thing was going to happen unless the person took steps to prevent it. Would you not do what is in your power to inform that person of the impending danger. Now yes in some cases some people don't know how to take no thank you as an answer but that's not just a christian problem. There are people like that in all beliefs.

Who's hateful? I just read a bunch of answers to a person who has been questioning the bible all along on here and there was nothing but love coming through the answers. I think you might be misinterrpreting the answers people are giving. The hate I see coming through is usually from the non-spiritual people who bash other religions....and I'm on here frequently. Not everyone has a motive....most Christian people on here just want to answer questions honestly and with love and understanding. God did not kill His Son......Jesus is with his Father. Humans killed His Son. And Humans had screwed up things here so badly that God felt he had to start with a blank slate......hence, the flood. As humans we have been our own worst enemies, not God.

First of all you are the hateful one grouping all Christians in a remark like that. Second ive seen A LOT more hate in atheists...like you and God didnt kill His son, MAN did. You need to get your facts right. And Christ loves you enough to take your punishment. He died on the cross so YOU could be saved. And even when you keep denying Him over and over He still loves you no matter what. All God wants is for you to love Him back and accept Him and You turn Him down. Thats hate my friend. And if some Christians keep trying to tell you about God it is because they actually care! You just dont get it.

God is a god of love. He has allowed things to happen to the human race because people have free will. God does not hate nor does the Bible teach hate. I am sorry you feel this way. I think you should look into your facts. Jesus died for the sin of man so that we could be forgiven and live an eternity in Heaven. Jesus rose from the dead after 3 days and now lives with God. I only hope that I am that lucky as well. It thrills me to know that I will be reunited with loved ones that have passed before me.

I'm here, I'm a Christian, and I am not hateful. Let me explain something to you if I may.....I agree, there is a lot of hatred projected out here by all sides...but you do need to make a distinction between hatred and acceptance. For a Christian to profess a belief that is unpopular and different than others is not always hatred, it is speaking up for the truth of your faith and beliefs and not accepting of anything less but that doesn't necessarily constitute hatred...just unacceptance of the views put forth, not the person putting them forth. Does that make any sense to you. Christians who are trying to follow Jesus Christ have the obligation to speak the truth....IN KINDNESS AND IN LOVE as Jesus did and there can be not hatred in that, just unwillingness to accept the others viewpoint as "The Truth" in light of Jesus teachings. Granted, there is much disagreement as to what is really the truth because of all the different interpretations of the Bible. We are called to love and respect and show dignity to each other, despite differences of opinion and that is where we fall short. I don't agree that it is outright hatred in most cases. In some, yes it is, but not the majority and that goes for all people out here!

Every Religion can be construed as hateful. What are the muslims doing at this point, don't they want to convert everyone
on earth to their religion. Is the jihaad not considered a holy war?
What does Mohammed think about that? Don't be so condescending of the Christians. The only religion so far as I can see that has not done a lot of killings is the Buddhist religion.
But don't think I am a Buddhist, I am a Christian and try to live my life accordingly. I suggest you do the same, whatever your religion might be.

Right on! throughout history, christians have always tried to convert people and when they couldn't convert them, THEY KILLED THEM....that's why people got burned at the stake etc. christians need to learn to accept other forms of beliefs and develop a live and let live attitude. I am just so thankful that I know better and have chosen to raise my children w/out the confinments and shame of organized religion, and that I only surround myself w/ open-minded people. disclaimer: I have known some christians that were decent people, but that is not the norm!

christians dont hate. christians r not perfect. and God is more than just a peaceful God. he is also strong, loving, merciful, and a lot more. He killed His son in order to save us. he loved us soooo much that he sacrificed his son so we can live happily in heaven free of sin.(john 3:16) and He killed millions in a flood because they did not listen to Him and Noah was the only rightous person left.(or something like that) and the Flood came way before Jesus died on the cross.

I haven't seen any hateful Christians, if there are people that say they are Christians yet hating other people then they are not true Christians. But, to tell people of our belief and trying to conform people is out of love. We want everyone to be able to see the Father when they die, we don't want nobody to have to experience down below for the rest of eternity. That is not how we want the world, its how God wants it and we are just being faithful servants.
