He can apply got Green Card lottery. Actually your friend has a slim chance of staying here, because he entered the country iligally. Also, he won't be able to come back, b/c he violated the laws of the United States.

Although I am pro-illegal the easiest (most costly)way would be for him to go turn himself into Ins go to court ask for voluntary deportation and file for a visa to come back. If he gets caught it's much worse. He could get married to a citizen but since he's here he could be ordered back to his country and have to stay from 3-5 years to straighten out how much monies he owes etc.........

What he can do is apply for citizenship...he will probably have to pay back taxes and take the citizenship test as well as whatever else is required for him to become a citizen. All is not lost for him.
Keep the faith.

Go back....really we have enough illegals over here....Stay in your own country..try to make it a better place, then maybe so many won't freaking leave and come over here, and take up all our country's jobs that legal citzens should rightfully have.

On his own??
It is impossible. Hire an immigration lawyer and they will find a loop hole. My wife did it and she got her Green card a few monthes ago.

He can't become a citizen - and you should turn him in; if you are a US citizen, it is your civic duty.
