It really varies a lot, and also by size of the dog. Here (Pittsburgh) there is a low-cost spay/neuter clinic run by the local animal shelter. It costs between $41 and $75 dollars depending on the size of the dog. Call your local animal control agency to see where there might be a low-cost clinic near you. Citiies generally have more of these clinics than rural areas.

At a vet without any discounts, it can cost between $200-$500 depending, again, on the size of the dog and the particular vet.

In Oklahoma it starts at about $50 and goes up from there depending on the size of the dog. Humane societys in some areas will help pay the fee so you might check your yellow pages and look into that.

In my town, it is $40 at the Humane Society and $280 at a pricey vet that requires an overnight stay. Expensive area of Southern California.

there are alot of factors involved in pricing... how big of dog how old... where you at..... but i would say a standered national price would be 50-100 i paid 100 to have a 90 lb german shepherd spayed.... nutering is cheaper because it is not invasive... you can also looking to financial aid... snap, aspca, you local aniamal shelter will have the information on it... good luck i hope this helpped.

I had mine done a couple of weeks ago and it cost $80. But its more if you have lab work done before the procedure. Mine didnt get the lab work. Its optional.
