If god gave humans their brains along with freedom of thought, do you really believe you will be punished when you die if you don't see evidence of god and therefore don't believe in him.

People that do not know him , will have the opportunity to know him. They will not be punished for this.

It's not just an intellectual question, whether a person believes in him or not that causes a person to be separated from God. If it were, it would be very unfair to those who lack intellectually speaking. However, it is a question of condition. The condition in which a person lives and dies. If a person is under the condition of sin during and up to the point of death, then they will be separated from God for eternity. The only way to receive forgiveness of sin, is to believe in Jesus Christ, who God sent to die and take the punishment reserved for you and me. He died in our place, so that we would not have to be separated from God after life. But, this like all things, is a choice given to all mankind. Whether to accept the free gift of Salvation for believing in Christ, or living a life completely on your own without the salvation that only comes through Christ. So, even if you believe that God is real, it does nothing for you. You will still die in your sins and be separated from God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father, except through me." So you see, it is more than just a question of believing. But you do have a choice, a freedom of exercise that only you can make. Either way, you are responsible for what you decide.

If:
God is all knowing and all powerful.
Then:
God knows what each of us will do, including our choices, before we do.
Therefore:
A god who punishes us for things that he knows we are going to do is not a loving god. Free will is a myth.

If:
God is all powerful and all loving
Then:
God can forgive anything as he is all loving
Therefore:
There would be no hell, so why would god allow/make such a place?

If:
There is a seperate figure that created hell, such as the devil
Then:
God is not all powerful and must share power with this devil
Therefore:
God is not the only powerful force as is claimed.

There are a quite a few of these that I could put up, but to date no one has been able to rectify even these arguments.

To start off with evidence of God is EVERYWHERE. All you have to do is open your eyes and realize it. Think about it. The trees, water, plants, the sky, animals, and you waking up every morning. There is a ultimate punishment for not believing in him. The eternall lake of fire. All you have to do is open your Bible and read it. It will give you all of your answer right there. But when you read make sure that you start in the New Testament. It is more for things that people are having problems with as of right now. Personally I believe that it is more helpful to life right now.

god has given man a brain and freedom of thought but that isnt really the main reason a person would deserve his wrath the reason is that god has sent more or less 124 000 prophets into the world and 4 books to guide mankind a poet has once said that every blade of grass which comes forth from the ground shoots out a single blade professing that there is only one god everyones sign is differant all we have to do is keep our eyes peeled good luck

Current evidence proves conclusively that God and the Bible are both fakes. There is not one single matter discussed in the Bible out of the many thousands of issues raised that has been proven true, yet many matters have been proven false.

You don’t really need to be a rocket scientist to deduce with practically 100% certainty that God and the Bible are fake.

I don’t think there is much doubt today that all religions are just mystical cults with their clever magic tricks conjured up to awe inspire their believers and followers. Take the Christian mythological cult for example. God is supposed to have created the universe, incarnated (magic trick) himself as Jesus and written the Bible.

But today God is totally silent. The only thing we hear about God comes from people speaking on his behalf, namely cult leaders and followers, most of whom are lunatics and war mongers. If God genuinely existed, he would silence these people because they are an absolute embarrassment. Just check out some religious idiots who post on YA.

When you listen to these idiots trying to justify God’s love and existence, it takes very little commonsense to realise how imaginary God is. If God were real, he would speak for himself. The fact that God does not speak, and that he allows any lunatic who comes along to speak in his name, proves that God is imaginary.

No, I don't believe I will be punished. In addition to what you said; an all good god will not punish me for not believing in it. If god does punish me for not believing then it is an evil god, not a good one. If that's the case then it doesn't deserve my worship anyways.

If you don't believe in GOD you will always be seeking fulfillment elsewhere and you'll never find it. We knew GOD before time began, as he professed to know us, and we will always seek that completeness, that all-encompassing love that we knew in his presence once. Punishment for not believing will be separation from that love for the eternity our spirits will endure. It's a punishment YOU will choose by not believing.

I don't think it's a matter of not seeing any evidence of Him, and then objectively concluding that there's no God.

Rather, I think a lot of people don't believe in God in the first place -- and then, to validate and rationalize that belief, talk themselves into it by saying that there's no evidence of Him.

Yes. For exactly that reason. God gave people the ability to see Him, what would be the excuse? Romans 1 points that out.
