I'd be tired after that also:) She may just have a minor reaction to all the shots. If she does not feel better in a few hours I would call your vet. Good luck:)

First the Parvo and Distemper should have been given in one shot along with other vaccines. It can make them tired just like your kids when they get their shots, but I usually don't see a problem. Rabies can actually become sore at the site of injection. Even with all the needle sticks it should not have effected her physically. Make sure she has plenty of fluids.
She may be upset about you taking her. I have one that when he goes to the vet he literally squats turns in a circle and pooos everywhere. Some pets can be very emotional. I would more likely say she is worn out from the physically going to the vet.

the shots will usually make them not feel good
watch also for a reaction to the shots
like hives or swelling around the eyes and mouth
my dog had a reaction to one of the shots and I rushed him back to the vet where they gave him a steroid and benadryl for the swelling and hives.
but I would say your dog is not feeling well from the shots
also too I would never ask a queston on here about medical stuff
you are getting peoples experiences like mine and not a real medical or vet doctor.
when in doubt call the vet at the office about your concerns!

If you just had the shots done today, she may just be ticked off at you for bring her to the vet and experiencing pain from the shots along with feeling a bit down due to vaccines.
If she acts too weird or symptoms persist, call the vet because she may be having an allergic reaction to one of the vaccinations.
Good luck!

Sometimes just the stress of going to the vet and all the poking and prodding is enough to tire them for the day. I assume she has had vaccines before, since she was given a three year rabies vaccine. Usually the distemper vaccine is a combo of 4-5 vaccines in one. If she is still like that tomorrow, call the vet and tell them your concerns and see if they can get her back in.
You can take her temp. It should be 101.5--102.5..

Parvo shots will make them a little sleepy. Call your vet if she's not back to normal in a few days. The whole experience of the vet visit could be the reason, too. She could be scared that you are going to take her back. Just be extra sweet to her and let her rest. She should be fine soon.

Some shots make your dog a little drowsy. Your vet should have told you that so you wouldn't worry so much. Give it a day or two and if your dog isn't back to normal I would call your vet. I'm sure everything is fine and she's just sleepy.

It's fairly normal for dogs to be slightly lethargic or 'off' for 24-48 hours after getting vaccinated or getting blood drawn. If you are concerned, simply call the vet. S/he will ask you a series of questions to figure out the seriousness of it and if it's just post-shot blues, you probably won't have to take her in.

~ The Shots make the dog tired. She may be this way for a day or two. If it lasts longer I say call the vet, but this is NORMAL for a dog that just got her shots.
