i have dry patches on my face around my forehead and under my cheek bones. My mom doesn't want to take me to a dermatologist because she keeps saying that it'll go away eventually. All is drink is water, facial scrubs get rid of it for a day, but they come back, and it can't be from sun exposure because if I go outside, I usually stay in the shade or have a hat of some sort on. 4 years ago, I have a really bad allergic reaction to sun screen that was put on my face also and that same night I used a facial scrub that I was allergic to also (I didn't know I was allergic to them) and I don't know what was in them that I was allergic too. ever since then, the patches started showing up and they won't leave even though I tried everything. does someone know what on earth is going on?!

Its call eczema. You can use go to the doctors and get a special cream for it. You need to make sure you keep your body moisturized. You also want to use dove bath bars (pink) because other soaps will make it worse.

I, too, had a matching subject that grew to become into those days resolved-- yet i assumed i might placed my 2 cents in right here, because of the fact this grew to become into between the 1st issues I observed interior the commencing up... to grant slightly history, this started on the commencing up of iciness, whilst the dry, chilly climate set in. I many times dry out exceptionally undesirable in iciness, yet my lips have on no account been extraordinarily stricken. Upon noticing the dry patch (mine grew to become into on my decrease lip), I did the 1st think of you may desire to not-- picked at it. This grew to become into accompanied by using WebMD-ing and typical hassle. it is likewise worth noting that I had not participated in any threat-assuming behaviors for rather a while. although, some week later, after lots chap-stick, lotion, protecting up on my water intake, and woe, the answer got here rather unpredicted: I replaced toothpaste manufacturers! First day i spotted greater moisture in my mouth (which i assume I had gotten used to), and by using the 2d day my lips already felt lots greater effective. This took some week to rebound, because of the fact I nevertheless had issue leaving it on my own... So in case you have some impulse administration, i'm advantageous it quite is going to be a smoother technique. ethical of the story: evaluate aspects affecting the issue. (and don't %. at it...)

i have got the same thing and i have found that washing your face daily and not touching it throughout the day can help. i also have had success in using eucerin cleanser as well as eucerin lotion in the dry patches. they make cleansers and a variety of different lotions to use, so that's an alternative you can try. i also learned while doing the vegan thing for bout 5 yrs that getting enough or taking these supplements of omega-3 fatty acids or a source of natural oil like cod-liver oil, fish oil, or one that replaces the oil your body needs can help

I won't say it'll go away, but it's not really unusual. Try applying olive oil to the dry patches. That's one of the ingredients in an oil I found in a local nutrition store, and it does seem to help a lot.

Be careful of the things you use on your face because it may irritate your condition. You should use Dove soap, because it will moisturize your skin. I to suffer from dry skin, but it's every where except my facial area. The dove really works for me, try it!
