so, I really really like this guy, he's 16 I'm 14. He'll be turning 17 in october. i really really like him. A while back he told me he liked me, but then he stopped talking to me, because, STUPID ME, decided to go out with this other guy because, he wouldn't dare ask me out. But then me & that other guy broke up. He slowly started talking to me again. We are only 3 years apart & i thought I had a chance, i mean he told me i did! Now, he talks to me & calls me ever so often. He came with us to the races Saturday night, but nevr sat by me. Hardly even looked at me, but alot of people around us say that he likes me. But I can't tell, I know this sounds very stupid, but i need help, is it the age difference or what is keeping him from me? Or does he just not like me & has moved on to something better? What's your opinion on the situation?

well i guess he just shows you what YOU want to see, but maybe his eye is one someone else. Advice: never date someone who is older than you especially in the US cuz when he's an adult (18) he would look at you as a fool teenager (minor)who is just 15 or 16, i don't mean to tell you that you must break up with him, it just bothers me to see someone get dumped by an older one.

what did you expect of him??? you had a farily solid relationship and the you all of a sudden start going out with another guy, and after you break up with boy#2 you want this older boy to just drop everything and comeback to you like nothing happened??? what aare you thinking?
i can tell you almost what he's thinking. he's a little put off by you, "princess." Why do girls have a reputation of being demanding, manipulative and self-centered? it's because of girls like you who want a guy, or daddy or Gap employee to drop everything that truly is important and go right to work on satisfying your every whim!! get over yourself, because he sure seems to have and is right for doing it!!
You have a lot of work to doif you realy want this guy who could probably find a girl his own age who has already learned the lesson that you need to.

If he's smart, he's hesitating due to the age thing, but the only way to know for certain is to ask him.

maybe he's just as confused as u...why don't u ask him directly?
it'll be better than making strangers take a decision for u.

Leave him alone, you are too young for him and he should look for someone his age.
