Lost opportunity? What to do when this hot mama walked by? What can I do in similar situations if they happen?

I am a widower 60 years young. The other night I picked out a couple of videos and when I was out in the parking lot, in front of the store, I stopped and was looking over at a sports bar/restaurant where some good cooking was attracting me to go over and have a meal there. Finally, I decided not to go. As I turned to go to my car, I noticed a good looking ,middle age blonde heading in my direction. She looked right at me with a sexy smile and come-hither eyes. I looked/smiled back, as she passed me and went into the Video store. I didn't know her & said nothin.

Sometimes women do smile at me in grocery stores or other places that one doesn't go to in order to pick up women, but this time it was extraordinarily erotic. Still ,it was in a parking lot at night and she obviously was going into the video store.

I would love to meet someone with her looks and close to my age. What should I have done in this situation? I did nothing but look back and then got in my car and left.

Hello agreeableone,

It's just like when you were younger. You say hello to them. That's always the first thing that you do. It sounded like they were attracted to you too, so the "Hello" is a sign from them that you're interested back. Hopefully, they will say hello back and might even stop and talk for a little while more.

Older people like us need love too. ;-) And you know that women live longer than guys, so you will be more in demand as you get older. It's a little more relaxed for us older folks because, we don't have to worry about the same things that younger kids on this site do. We've been there and experienced most of this stuff already.

So be sure to smile, be friendly and say hello. And if you feel like talking about the weather or what movies that you rented, so much the better. Happy hunting.

I think you were right to have used the head on your shoulders as opposed to your other head this time. Because of the setting, parking lot late at night, it wouldn't have been a very good idea to approach her. Even if you put on your best charm. Hopefully you run into her again. If not though, try meeting people in more casual type settings. Develop friendships with girls that you could see as a potential girlfriend and hopefully it will grow into that. And as bad as the online dating scene can be, have you considered looking for like minded ladies online??
