I've learned from expereince that understanding and acceptanc really stops me from getting bothered by things I can't control. For instance how do I know the person who gets off on the 2nd floor doesn't have some physical condition that would make it painful for them to take even one flight of stairs let alone TWO? perhaps they had knee repalcement surgery, or are recovering from a recent surgery..in the end I believe who ever is on the elevator at the same time as I am for some reason are paths are supposed to be crossed even n if I don't like the way they look or smell! People who do not use their car blinkers when they change lanes. aggrevate me! Besides, it's a law and courteasy of the road.when they don't use their blinker I think its rude and disrespectful. I often wonder why they can't lift their poor little finger and let the other drivers around them now what there next move is! It's particularily irritating when they're driving a high end car! Oh, I think... their blinker is broken!!! too bad they can't affirod to get it fixed!!! Strangers that stand tooo close in a check out lane..I've learned to always have a big shopping basket to put between myself and the person behind me so no chance I have to feel uncomfortable that they are not respecting my personal space> People who speak english as a second language who treat me disrespectful when they don't undersatnd me who has spoken english allll my life.

Well fact is some people need to take the elevator to the second floor. Me for example, I am in a wheelchair and need to use an elevator. Others may have heart conditions and/or other reasons for not taking the stairs. So conisider yourself lucky that you are able to climb these stairs and be grateful for what you have in life.

But as far as what gets on my nerves. Seriously, it is yahoo answers when people ask really immature and/or annoying questions.

Too much to list them all. I am a grumpy old man. 1 that comes to mind first, is you can't do anything anymore that you don't get scammed. No matter what it is someone is scamming you for $$. My family went to a Christian event at Southfork Ranch for the 4th of july, $12.00 to park in a spot that will take you 2 hours to get out of, water was $3.50 for a 20 oz bottle, soda $4.00 20 oz. You would think there was something you could do, especially this, that the almighty doller didnt rule. And they do it cause they can, noone will stand up for anything anymore.

Hmmmmm, very little gets my goat now that I have prayed for understanding of my fellow man (and woman). God is great. Sometimes, the things that irked me about others were things that I did myself that I needed to change, maybe not outright, but in someway, it was apparrent. Most people let their egos drive them, this clash of wills and energies tends to irritate others. Put two pretty women within close proximity of the other, and in less than 5 minutes, both have already "assessed" the others negative attributes.

I think the truest answer to your question is simply human nature. Sadly, it is so for most people. Always strive to be better than you were yesterday, mentally. Don't let people get on your nerves. Then they have power over you.

Be blessed. Be wise. Be vigilant.

People who take the lift to the 2nd floor do not annoy me. I wouldn't take a lift for any less than four floors up, or six floors down, but that's their business.

What gets on my nerves are people who smoke next to me indoors.

People who yell and cuss at their 2 or 3 year old kids in the public restroom really piss me off and disgust me. I mean the way I heard some of these women talk to their kids. Stupid @ss mf's and b!tches and eveything else and how theyr'e gonna kick their sorry little @sses. I have 2 kids myself and I just don't see how a child that small could piss you off so bad. I wouldn't talk to a grown man like that.

When really random people suddenly appear in front of you and you can't miss them because they're RIGHT there staring at you with birght pink hair that could almost glow in the dark and they start telling your their entire life's story in a high pitched voice talking so fast that you don't really understand anything, and you can't leave because they keep getting in front of you so you have their complete attention and every time they pronounce "P" or "B" they spit and it goes on your face and all you can do is whimper.
