The main symptom is nausea, particularly in the morning. (I"m not pregnant!) I am extremely worried. Does anyone know what this could be? I've had every test in the book.

You still need to avoid fatty foods. Since you dont have a gal bladder there is no bile that is being transfered into your GI tract to help digest fats. This could be causing the nausea. You should call your doctor.

If you still having concerns and some pain, that is normal following surgery.

My question for you is....Have the doctors tested you for HCV?
Sometimes HCV can be the cause of your gallstones, but could also be a cause of your pain you said your still having.
It is due to the liver becoming enlarged and while the liver has very little nerve sensations, it could be it's pressing on other organs that do.

Ask your doctor if you've been tested for HCV.

Good luck and take it easy!! :o)

your body is in a state of adjustment......the effects of anesthesia, the loss of the gall bladder, all contribute to create the nausea problems. I suggest 24 hours of clear liquids only, things like weak tea, jello, juices etc. Then slowly add solids to your diet, low fat foods are best. Be kind to your body, it has some adjusting to do.

Was your gall bladder removed because of gallstones? If so,were you given an endoscopy before the gallbladder was removed to see if you had an ulcer?
