Something fun i do with my kids is make personal pan pizzas. I buy premade pizza crusts and the sauce, cheese, and toppings. Then i let the kids decorate them how they enjoy it.
Its fun and will fill them up..not to mention make the time go faster!

Make home made macaroni and cheese.

-boil pasta till done
-place hot macaroni in bowl topped with 1-2 cups of cheddar cheese and a can of condensed mushroom soup and blend with a spoon till thickened. If it is too thick add a little milk until it is the consistency you are searching for.
-If you want to spice it up add cooked ground beef, mushrooms, bacon bits, onions, whatever you like. It is simple, inexpensive, and better than that kraft junk.

Take Crescent rolls, lay them out, individually. Take a hot dog, cut a slit in it lengthwise and put a piece of cheese in the slit. Wrap the dog in the crescent roll and cook according to roll directions.

Pork & Beans (one lg can), cut up hotdogs, add about 2-3 Tbsp of Ketsup and 2-3 Tbsp of Brown sugar. Heat & Serve.

Spaghetti - make with Macaroni to help with the mess.

Indiv. pizzas -- you prebake the french bread (to get it 'toasty') and then add the sauce -- then allow them to add their own ingredients/cheese -- then you bake till golden brown.

Any more needed, contact me.

My siblings LOVE it when I cut up their peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches with cookie cutters. You could use flower shapes, cars, squares, gingerbread people, or other fun shapes. ANother kid favorite is ants on a log, take celery and spread peanut butter in the crack. Sprinkle raisins or chocolate chips for the ants! Good luck!

Mac and Cheese. It's easy, and you can make it all at once.

Throw in some sliced weinnies, and a drained can of corn for ineterest. They'll love it.

something healthy like apples, cut up into quarters, or carrots. Pretzels are great. Maybe crackers and hummus. Try and avoid the garbage (even though they love it) and give them something healthy. If you must give them pre-made stuff, at least include a multivitamin.
