I don't know.

I don't know why Christians justify murder in one case but not the other

They justify incest in the bible (Adam & Eve, Noah's Ark, Lot & his daughters, etc.) but it's taboo now.

They justify polygamy in the bible but it's taboo now.

They justify white lies even though they're not supposed to lie at all.

They don't think twice about being jealous of something even though it's a commandment "thou shall not covet"

I don't understand why Christians say "God word is never changing" yet, they say things like, "Times have changed.. some of the things in the bible don't apply anymore.."

Christians pick and choose which rules in the bible they want to follow even though they say the bible is 100% the truth. I'm not a Christian anymore.. too much stupidity and hypocrisy. I just do what I feel is right and don't rely on an archaic book for this.

stop taking everything you read so literally and strictly at face value....learn to read between the lines....if someone came into your home and was attemting to hurt or kill you or someone you love, do you really think that god would want you to just stand there and get killed or let the others get killed if you had an opportunity to kill the intruder first.....NO....you have a right to protect/defend yourself....and that is what the sodiers are doing. I seriously hope we don't end up going back to the draft, and you get picked to go....I would hate to know that my brother-in-law or any other soldier was depending on you to watch his back!

Are you a soldier trying to cope with this type of guilt? I imagine only someone that has to face this kind of trial could have any hope of answering it.

They should not have any guilt. The bible says that there is a time for war. In wars you are supposed to kill-thats the time you kill. Whats your problem?

Thou shalt not Murder!'
Killing justly is not murder.

Now dropping bombs that kill civilians is not really just unless there was fair warning!

Good question. I feel so sorry for any soldier in that position. I can not even comprehend what that must be like, I don't have the emotional stamina to be in that position. You have inspired me to pray for them. They need all the help and prayers they can get.

Remember that there will always be wars and rumor of wars.

In war people get killed, solder, spy, and civilian.

This is not murder.

Murder is something that you do purposefully to end life such as what Hitler did, terrorist do, and people who plan to end a person's life or that of a category of people.
