Ok i wake up everyday in a house that i feel i dont belong in, i wish i was some where else, i do all i can to get out of this house but nothing works, i finally find a plan to get out but then i realize that would ruin my life so much more. i feel like my life is useless and nothing good will come out of it. I think i finally found my goal in life but theres no way to fulfil it without losing everthing I live for and want so in te end i can never fulfil this goal for myself because it would just make me lose pretty much my life. Is this what my life should be like?? Im only a teenager and im not depressed, im actually a very happy go lucky girl who stuck in the middle of the real world, and her fantasy.

You are going through what tons of people have gone through in their teen years. The best news that I have for you is to "hold on", it will be OK. In the meantime, you should try to do things to brighten your world so you don't despair so much over the home life. You could brighten your world by brightening other people's world. Find a hospital or someplace to volunteer. Even if it is at the local dog shelter, you can make the world a better place if you volunteer. It doesn't have to be much time, maybe an hour or two a week, but you need to get the perspective of your situation from "outside looking in". Hold on, be polite, Good Luck

The teenage years are really horrible. Too young and too old all at the same time.

Your goals and dreams will constantly change, so don't rush that getting out thing. You might want to rethink your goal. Sounds like you have to give up too much in order to fulfill it.

Teens forever have been going through the same thing. Try to take comfort in the fact that you aren't the first, nor will you be the last.

Take care.

well... doesn't sound very fun =T...i'm sorry to hear that. it really is hard when u don't feel like u belong, in ur own house!! first of all, be proud that u've been able to remain a happy-go-lucky person, probably really optimistic, creative, and have big dreams. that is Awesome, and great cuz ur young. the whole WORLD is ur lobster! :)... on that note, sometimes parents and adults or friends don't see that potential, try to bring u down, try to make u feel stupid, or stay in ur comfort zone instead of encouraging u to go out and make mistakes and LEARN. people are so afraid of making mistakes that they don't realize u can't learn anything or try different things, or make new solutions. it must be frustrating for you.

i would suggest trying really hard to communicate w/ ur family... that u feel really bogged down at home, and altho u try to be happy and open minded, there are things that are bringing u down. hopefully they care about u enough to try and encourage u more...if they are closed minded, there's not much u can do about them except for be respectful as u live ur life under their roof, but use all ur extra-curricular activities as an outlet. study hard in school, work hard at sports, make lots of friends in activities, take art classes, anything u can do to meet new people , learn new things, and get to know teachers. they can help mentor u and give u great advice. if u seek, u will find!! u can even use the internet to find out classes, etc, that u can take at jc's on weekends, and stuff like that. don't limit yourself... do what u can with what means that u have. and never let things get u down. surround urself with positive happy people, and u will continue to grow and flourish!

We dont know how old you are. Im assuming you're still with parents and you might not be getting along with them. Take a simple job for awhile, Save some money and then try to go further with your dreams. If you want be an actress or singer Only 1% really do that so choose something more realistic. Good luck. Life is chock full of disappointments and alot of struggling.

NOT SURE WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY.

A happy go lucky girl? I do not think so, you said you feel like your life is useless and nothing good will come of it.

You need to tell us exactly what the problem is.

Your school counselor should be able to give you some direction
