Let me tell you a little story. I had a crush on a tomboy. She cut her hair short, she sounded like an adolescent boy, and she had a wushu blackbelt. We were in the same drama team and everytime she came, she wore a t-shirt and sports shorts and she would lean back on the chair and slam her feet on the table.
Of course, I remember she came to the prom in an elegant white gown and she turned heads that day as well even though she was dateless.
And best part is I wasn't the only guy who was gaga over her then. I can think of a few (including my best friend which is why I stayed away... *sigh*)

What am I trying to say? Nothing's wrong with you! From what you've said, you seem like an attractive, adventurous person that some guys would love to have by their side. Just continue being yourself.

The guys who chase after mini-skirts are not worth it. Look for those who actually are looking for substance and a lasting relationship.

Also, the best part if you know how to dress up at important moments, imagine how much more you'd shine.

Its completely high-quality to be a tomboy. His ex is basically jealous. heavily. My sister became/nevertheless is a tomboy. She had diverse men who loved her because she wasn't pretend or something. you do not unavoidably could placed on a skirt or attire or something both. basically go buying contained in the ladies section, get some bermuda shorts, some kinda dishevelled capris, you'll seem slightly more effective female, without sacrificing who you're. do not replace! And as a guy, i have lengthy gone out with both, I favor a tomboy lady i'll visit football video games and communicate events with, yet who's usually female at the same time as she needs and needs to be.

What you're an adult people tend to think "Tomboy equals Lesbian". Which is not true. I'm in this category and there isn't an adult word for a straight female that is tomboyish that I'm aware of. Words can impact people different ways.
My husband loves me the way I am. There are time when I do wear a dress and maybe once a year wear make-up, but I rather be comfortable first. I love camping and having fun, joking around, etc. But it was hard to find guys who didn't see me as a little sister, but as a girlfriend type. If It was meant to happen, I would find a guy that would accept me for who I am.

Hello badhair92,

Well then buy yourself a mini skirt. Is that so hard? The guys might think that you just want to pal around with them when you dress like they do. But, if you want to get their attention in a different way, you may need to attract them in a different way.

Get yourself a tighter shirt (maybe even a tanktop) that show a little more of your figure or show a little bit more skin. That will get their attention fast. Best of luck to you. Happy hunting.

My first question is what do you look like, that might give me some insight on what could be just shallow men. Maybe they're intimidated by what you're able to do....

I have NOTHING wrong with a tomboy girl, I think it's a turn on, but at the same time I like a girl for feminine qualities. It's what makes her just that; a girl!

A tomboy is viewed as one of the "guys" not a GIRL. Accommodate your wardrobe to remind yourself and everyone of your feminity. Those really high heel shoes women wear maybe painful and even dangerous- but it accentuates the legs and makes a woman look sexy. BTW/ how old are you. Perharps this whole tomboy look is a phase. If so, it will die out dont worry about it.

It sounds like the guys you know are looking for a cheap thrill. I don't think it has anything to do with being a tomboy. I think it has a lot to do with the mini skirt and what they can see because of it.

Well i was raised on a farm, and was around boy cousins all my life. But i was always thrown the tomboy card. And i was and still am to a point. I worked on cars, fish, hunted. But alto of guys told me later on that they did like me but they felt intimated by me, Why i do not understand. There is nothing wrong with you, the right guy will come around.

I don't really know but I would like to because my granddaughter is a tomboy but she is gorgeous. I think they don't ask for dates because they think that all tomboys are lesbians. Also, I think there is something to be said for looking feminine. Couldn't you have one outfit that you wear to attract a date and one you wear on dates (as well as makeup) After you hook the guy go back to the comfortable clothing?

That doesn't seem right, most of the guys I know (including myself) would perfer to be with a tomboy. Someone who isn't scared of touching dirt. It might be because you are young, when guys are younger they follow their smaller head, which makes them follow the mini skirt. Don't get down, as you get older, you will find men like you more, because you aren't some boring girly girl.

Keep your head up, your dating scene will only get better.

Good luck.
