I don't know where you live, but my advice would be to get outdoors, spend time in nature. Hug a tree (: don't worry about the cliche :) and let it take your dark feelings from you and ground them safely in the earth. Drums and other rythmic instruments break up negativity and fill the air with positive vibes. Take up yoga. Meditate, practice positive visualization. Write a poem. Be careful how you talk to yourself. Talk to yourself how you would talk to a friend, not an enemy. Don't beat yourself up, lift yourself up. Hope this helps. Depression sucks.

I can sympathsize with that!

Try music, especially positive music. If you have any funny videos or DvDs at home, watch them once in a while.

I don't reccomend this right now on account of the heat wave, but try going for a walk: The exercise will help, and so will actually seeing things.

Do you have any hobbies? The act of creating something is actually a very big boost.

Or- try this. Turn on some music and dance. And enjoy it!

Good luck!

You can go see comedy movies, take a cruise, buy yourself flowers (they lighten up the room and make people hapier and they smell good). Take a walk and realize all the beautifull things around you. Take a nap.Give hugs.Write a letter, its always exciting to get one back. Go bowling.Go on a bike ride. (I have a book of things you can do in front of me).Take a bubble bath.Draw a picture. Re-decorate a room. Plant something. I hope this helps you. Email me for more at Cedez92@yahoo.com.

Meditation is the answer, and more. There are many kinds of meditation techniques out there and so make sure that what you choose to practice is the beneficial one. Part and parcel of the practice of meditation is the performance of yoga poses (asanas) which helps one in the practice of meditation. These specifically prescribed poses see through the correction of the defect of the endocrine glands and hormones (secretions).
Meditation and the asanas are learned free of charge and can be done in the comforts of one's home except for collective update group meditat'n practice if one is able to. (This will significantly enhance progress in meditation).
