and stop this trinity nonsense. If god came to earth would it take 400 years to figure out what he was saying. None of the Old Testament Prophets talk of a trinity!

This idea evolved from Roman and greek methology, after Paul attempted to spread the religion to the pagans. This is despite jesus saying he had only come for the lost sheep of israel, and telling his disciples to go only to the lost sheep of israel!!

When asked the most important commandment why did jesus not mention the trinity? Why did he pray is he is 'god from god, light from light, true god from true god' (catholic creed).

Why did he say only the father knows the hour, just like every other prophet? does the father know things he does not know? yet they are 1 god???!!

'They have certainly disbelieved who say: Surely God, He is the Messiah, son of Mary; for the Messiah said: O Children of Israel! worship God, my Lord and your Lord' - qur'an

'Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!' -qur'an

not a daily exercise, i guess that is intended as an insult. jesus use to pray with his disciples 3 times a day, as can be seen in the bible...u want to pass on that insult to him?

The question is refering to jesus's complete submission to God, not the position of prayer. Jesus is clearly subordinate to the father yet you continue to insist they are 1 and the same

you look really funny when u attack muhammad. anything you say i can point to other prophets who did the same.
he had more than 1 wife..hmm, easier to say the prophets that didnt.
he fought in battles..pls read the old testament, many prophets did!
christian scholars say mary was roughly 12 when she had jesus..you want to insult her also?

Christians do not refuse to bow down when they pray, I know many that do.

As for the Trinity, it's not a concept of worshipping three Gods or anyone being better than another. Here's an object lesson for you: Think of an apple, it's got a skin, seeds, and fruit, but it's all still an apple. The trinity is not a commandment, and as for the Catholic creed, non-Catholics don't say it, so it's not far to lump it together.

Jesus said the greatest commandment was to "love the Lord your God with all your, heart, soul, and mind and the second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself, for this sums up the law and prophets". Think about it, if you love everyone as you should you're not going to steal from them, hurt them, rob them, or treat them other than how you'd want to be treated.

Who refuses? Some Christians? I don't understand. Haven't you ever seen an elderly priest kiss the ground?

Of course that is what Muhammed had to say in order to defend the religion of Islam. Regardless of it origins.

Paul was sent out to spread the Truth to all peoples. The trinity was clearly written as of 70 or so AD when the apostles yet lived.

You need not spread deciet if Islam is a licit form of faith.

You question Jesus divinity, but not your own prophet. To understand Christianity you must consider both. Not attack without knowing the defense in an attempt to confuse innocent ignorant sheep.

Christ is the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophesy. And yes there is mention of God and the Son of God. There are different terms used in the OT than the NT, so it looks different.

Some Christians pray in different ways than other Christians, it honestly doesn't matter what position you take while praying. i can pray while driving or lying in bed or at church or prostrate on the ground. God listens to His people no matter what.

also, the trinity has nothing to do with prayer postures. and the 3 parts are NOT three different gods. it might help to study some of the Christian writings on this doctrine to help clear that up a bit ...

lastly, Catholics, Christians (Protestants), and Muslins all interpret the holy writings in different ways. Catholics adhere to different beliefs/writings (catholic Creed), christians adhere to the Bible and Muslins adhere to the Quran. the way protestant Christians believe can't be expected to be the same ... tolerence, maybe?

Abdulaziiz--
Since when does one's bodily position matter when we pray? God looks at the heart of the person praying, for that is where real sincerity and humility are found.

True worship, likewise, comes from the heart and mind, and not from the wallet, or rug, or chapel, or church. It is something done as a lifestye, not as a hobby.

As far as the doctrine of the Trinity is concerned, you are correct that Jesus never preached it. I think that the entire thing came about as an explanation of the nature of God. Sometimes people just try to explain things too much! Not all Christian groups hold to the doctrine of the "Trinity". Some prefer to leave such understandings up to God. The Eastern Orthodox Church is one such group. I know there are others.

Only in one part of His earthly ministry did Jesus command His disciples to go only to the "lost sheep of Isreal". He was, at that time, preparing for His sacrifice. After His ressurection, Jesus commanded His disciples to take the message to "Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the Earth." Jesus spoke to Cephas (Peter) in a vision, sending him specifically to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles, starting at the house of a Roman Centurian named Cornelius, who lived in Caesarea.

The good news about Jesus is for all nations, not just the Jews.

I just finished reading your add-ons. Perhaps you should stick to just one question while on the forum? You are putting too much into one space.

You are confused. Jesus himself said he is the Son of God, and even as we worship the Father, we shall also worship the Son. As far as the lost Sheep of Israel, he sent his disciples to them first, but before he ascended he said to "preach the Gospel to the whole world." Jesus, nor God, never commanded their followers to put their faces to the ground. We don't have to, we can look up and believe in Him.

Nothing in the Catholic religion says you can't prostrate in prayer, why it isn't done in the mass is because if only one person does it, it disrupts the mass and disrupts the universality that is Catholicism. Padre Pio who was canonized in 2000 by the late John Paul II prostrated for up to twelve hours at a time to prepare for service(mass). e-mail me if you want more info

No one refuses to do that, but God does not require that. Prayer is more about the heart than what position you pray in. Jesus prayed that way and that's great, but the bible doesn't say anything about it being required. I've met people who do all the right things, but their heart isn't right, and they treat others bad.

The trinity of the Father, Son and HOly Spirit is different the the pagan trinity. The Father, Son, and HOly Spirit our all different and yet are all in agreement....or all one, kind of like a marriage: you are one and yet you and your husband our one as well.
and i pray to God reverently in whatever position i'm in, and yes i've been face down on the ground...but i've also prayed "God help me!" when my steering wheel went out on a bridge adn He answered and guided my car with unseen hands to safety.

Don't know about most but when i drop down to pray my face is on the ground. my bible tells me that all eyes will see Jesus but only the pure in heart will see God.
