I really wish people would get some facts right before making dumb comments. Take these few examples:

"they are a cult, they even have a town if you dont believe me go to cicero IN"

Where is the proof for this statement? You think that Seventh-day Adventists are a cult so it must be true? They own Cicero, IN? That seems strange because there are bar there. If Adventists did own the town, I am sure there would not be a bar there (Corner Tavern Incorporated, 90 W Jackson St, Cicero, IN ; Star Dust Sports Pub, 845 Westfield Rd, Noblesville, IN) (http://local.yahoo.com/IN/Cicero/Entertainment+Arts/Bars%2C+Pubs%2C+Clubs/Bars+Pubs;_ylt=As8pMlfZe44UWQ8xA78qQ6WgNcIF;_ylu=X3oDMTBtM2E3N2g3BF9zAzk2NjEzNzY3BHNlYwNici10b3A-)

"I have a great issue with this "religeon" *cough.... CULT,.... cough*. Because it demeans women, demands money, and denies the right to your own thoughts."

And where is the evidence that Adventists demean women, demand money, and denies the rights to thoughts? You think it is this way so it must be?

"Per the 7th day doctrine. Doctors are evil, as are all medication because you would not ever get sick, or hurt if you "Really" believed in god and prayed for him. Yet when you are hurt the church will turn their back on you because you didn't believe."

Not only is that extremely poor English, it is totally untrue!

"Primarily by their seeming "worship" of Ellen G. White.
Their apparent lack of faith in a Triune God is also difficult for me to swallow."

Adventists do not worship Ellen White and believe in the Trinity.

Instead of listening to rumors, I would recommend people to read what the Seventh-day Adventist Church really believes. Go to http://www.adventist.org/beliefs/fundamental/index.html and find out.

Yes there is large group of them in a small town near Chattanooga, TN. They were founded by Mary Howard Baker, believe in Saturday for the sabbath, faith healing, no meat. They run a large bakery that makes Little Debbie products.

Yes. please when looking at their practices check the dictionary for the definition of CULT. I think you'll be pleasently amused. This off shoot of christianity blasts catholisim for its thinly veiled sun worship and the FACT that most christianity to day is designed around sun worship / pagan beliefs.

I have a great issue with this "religeon" *cough.... CULT,.... cough*. Because it demeans women, demands money, and denies the right to your own thoughts.

Per the 7th day doctrine. Doctors are evil, as are all medication because you would not ever get sick, or hurt if you "Really" believed in god and prayed for him. Yet when you are hurt the church will turn their back on you because you didn't believe. So your choice. I advised STRONGLY against it.

*My fiancies mother is 7th day adventis* and i have had the horror of being drug to their cult. It is brainwashing in a wonderfully stupid form.

SAVE yourself. Talk to ANYone other than one of them and your going to get the same\.

Yes, I've heard of them. What about them makes you think that they are completely right in their beliefs?

I find these folks to be off base quite a bit.
Primarily by their seeming "worship" of Ellen G. White.
Their apparent lack of faith in a Triune God is also difficult for me to swallow.

In my view, these folks are no different than Mormon/Latter-Day Saints and Jehovah's Witnesses...cults with Christian-themed views.
