THERE ARE SOME PILLS THAT YOU CAN BUY AT THE STORE, I GOT SOME AT PETSMART, THAT HAVE SOMETHING IN THEM THAT PASSES THROUGH THE STOOL AND MAKES IT DISTASTEFUL TO THE DOGS. IT TOOK ABOUT 10 DAYS OR SO FOR OUR DOG TO STOP EATING HER STOOL. IF YOU HAVE OTHER DOGS YOU WILL NEED TO GIVE IT TO THEM TOO.

Have a bottle of regular ammonia in a spray bottle on hand. When your dog poops, immediately spray the pile with the ammonia. Dogs usually are curious to see what they've left right away. Once they get a whiff og the ommina, they'll stay away. After a few days (maybe weeks depending on how smart your dog is), the dog will learn to associate the poop with ammonia and should stay away.
I used this to train my lab.

I do not know if meat tenderizer really works, but my guess it is not very good for the dog as it has alot of salt in it and salt is not good for the dog. Go to the petstore and they have something u can put on your dogs food so when it goes to the bathroom it will discourage the eating of it.

spray his/her food with a little bit of water, and then put Adolf's meat tenderizer on his/her food.
It makes the poo taste nasty, but then we are talking about something that is nasty to begin with. lol Good luck.
